Hello. I am new.

Post by Coyote »

I have been browsing this forum for a while, so I figured I'd make an account here. I am Coyote.

It is my wish to engage in conversation relevant to my interest, that being the subject of this forum-- a subject few people are willing to discuss, and even fewer know anything about. I have studied on and off for eight years. I dislike the word "magic" (and related terms) as I feel it has become perverted by culture over time (though the use of Crowley's term "magick" is somewhat better.)

I try to look at things from all perspectives-- to study all faiths and practices. In that I can discern for myself the truth.

It is my belief that there is no one way of doing things, and that few things can be considered absolute. To me, the rites and techniques exercised by whoever it may be concerned, be they Wiccan or Christian or a practitioner of Hermetic Philosophy, serve the same purpose. There are so many labels for things that are the same. Every culture of every nation has their own set of labels-- their own set of rules and restrictions placed by their spiritual founders. I have learned that there is no surer way to preventing progress. To each their own, but do not ask me who or what I am belonging to.

Hello and welcome.
"He lived his words, spoke his own actions and his story and the story of the world ran parallel."

Sartre speaking of Che Guevara.
