How do I worship Satan? Question for serious spiritual satanists only

I know that I really love Satan a real lot. I do worship him telling him how much I love Him, Respect Him, how beautiful He is, and thank Him for the demons he has given me and the friends he has brought me. But then some times I think I treat him like a santa claus, and just praise him to ask him to do things for me, and I know thats not right, So being a new satanist I want to know how I'm suposed to really worship Him.
( The question is for seriouus spiritual satanists that believe that Satan is a real diety.)

I am not a Satanist, but if you are going by at traditional view of what Satan is then worship would be in a way payment for benefits given. In modern Satanism there is allot of Satan being a metaphor and so on, but if you are going by Satan as a entity, and especially if you are going by the Christian view of what He might be, then I would think He would not want worship in the same way that RHP Gods would. In most worship one honor and worship the chosen God to praise them, and then the Gods might send favors in return. But with the lore around Satan, He gave gifts and then expected worship as payment for those gifts. Sort of like the opposite of working with RHP Gods. Instead of winning Their favor and then perhaps receive their blessing. If we are going for old beliefs of what pepole worshiping Satan did then that was more a practical I scratch your back you scratch mine sort of relationship.

You could always go and get some LaVey or other famous Satanist author's books, but be aware that in these religions Satan is seen more as a metaphor and a symbol than an actual God. I would recommend you create your own practice, make your list of wishes, of what you want Satan to do for you, but then offer worship as payment for the gifts.

I tend to reply to all the questions of this kind the same way. Why dont you go ask him? If you can astral project, do so, go to him and ask him. If you cant then ask him through a prayer or whatever you are familiar with. If you are telepathic the answer should come that way, if not then through some sign or something. That just seems like the most reasonable thing to do, no?

Telepathic or no one can ask a Deity a question, if the Deity is inclined to answer the asker will get his or her answer in some way, a chance meeting, seeing a passage in a book which makes perfect sense or in other ways an answer will come, though one sometimes will not know that one have gotten an answer before one think back and suddenly sees a pattern in the day to day coincidences since the time one asked the question.

sometimes its suggested that self-worship is the way to do it. by serving yourself you are in effect, serving satan.

it takes time to find that flow in your relationship with a deity, and it may take years to understand your relationship. takes time, practice, patience, understanding, study and a desire to learn as much as you can.

It would also depend on the practitioner's own view of that Deity, and what of the Deity's Energies the practitioner made a relationship with.

If you ask satanist A he will give you one answer and if you ask satanist B he will give you another answer and if you ask satanist C....ThereÂ´s no right or wrong way. That is for christians and other religions with their dogmas. Fear of being wrong and fear of punishment and at worst ever condemded. Heardmentality. There's only one way to worship Satan for you and that is your way. And if someone else say your wrong, well I dont need to tell you what you can tell them to do. A satanist is someone who take controll and responsibility for his/her own life and know what is best for him/her. Take advice and impressions from others but dont follow blindly someone else. That's for sheeps. No one can be a satanist and only follow in others footprints. That's not satanism.

Good post Gandridur. Very true, the best way to worship Satan is your own way. When you develop a connection with a God or Deity you will get a feeling of what works and what do not and so develop a method which is an amalgam of your method and what your Spiritual connection to the Deity in question tells you. Never listen to anyone who tell you that they have the one true way to worship, for any Deity then they are speaking bullshit. Worship is about connecting with a Deity, and that have to be done in a personal way else it is just going through the motions, or at least for the most part.

I believe the best way to worship Satan is to do just that----worship Him,bow and kneel before His altar,praising Satan for all He is and has done for you.Many Satanists feel it is wrong to kneel before anyone---but if you do not submit to Satan you do not truly worship Him.Simply identifying with Satan is not worship,neither is proclaiming your own self to be a god.Satanism is selfish,but it is not self-worship.Satan is a god who wants to be worshipped,so I believe honest worship and praise will be well-received by Him.It is especially good to talk positively to others about Satan.Every time I exalt Satan to others,I am rewarded unexpectedly.As far as ritual goes,use the words and activities that mean the most to you,being mindful of what the purpose of the ritual is.The best ritual, of course ,is one of praise and worship,without asking anything of Satan.

Well said! Magick and Occultism is not for the coward that hides behind his/her fantasies nor does the occulist or magician grovel at the feet of others to point them in the "right" way. If you must want to learn about Satan then do what all great wizards have done before you...pick up a book and read. Then apply this knowledge into yr own beliefs and practices. Magick is about information, application and experimentation.
