Hi,

I know a friend who is possesed he clearly splits into the demon at times and you can tell its a defferent personality, he is not ill or insane apparently he says he was fed something which has casued this
and he has been to many a priest but this thing refuses to leave.
Can someone advise or help

it's called schizophrenia. no demons, no priests, yes psycologist. a schizophrenic many times doesn't know he is ill but he is. I never ever heard about evil spirits in my dish so probably this thing he ate just gave him a stomach ache. try psychoanalisis, it always works better than a priest and sometimes better than a banishing ritual.

You need to exhaust every possibility that this isn't an ailment caused from some medical condition. You need psychiatrists as well as a thorough medical examination.

Has this person done anything that defy the laws of nature?
Have knowledge of things and events that they could not possibly know (including actual foreign languages)?
Is there poltergeist activity surrounding the person?

Thank you, one of the best pieces of advice many of us understand. Chances are, he has bipolar disorder, possibly schizophrenia, multiple personality disorder or some other mental problem.

Honestly, he needs to see a doctor. And this advice comes from a fellow friend and Demonologist.

IF it is demon possession. The best thing you can do is pray (which is just good advice anyways).

If he is showing signs of near super-human strength or flexibly: Lifting or throwing things that he/she wasn't normally able to do in the first place or contorting into forms that he wasn't able to do normally. (Dislocating his own joints just to bend awkwardly). From experience, It's likely demon possession. When a demon possesses the body, they aren't restricted by normal bodily functions such as pain, and may sometimes damage their victims by doing things his body wasn't meant to do. Because of this the body usually goes through strong convulsions (because of natural shock). If he is having epileptic fits, take him to a doctor immediately. Do not slap him or shake him, and if you can, turn him on his side in case he throws up.

Convulsions aren't a sure sign of demon possession, but they do happen often when someone is being maliciously possessed. Call 911 FIRST, not a priest.

Knowledge of things he shouldn't know like untold secrets or the ability to speak in other languages. Things that are extremely abnormal and break the laws of reality are sure signs of demon possession. In which case, call a professional.

If a demon is possessing your friend maliciously, you could put yourself in a dangerous situation. I haven't heard of any situations in which the possessed went out of their way to attack someone, but I have heard plenty of stories where people have been hurt attempting to restrain the demon possessed. If this is a demon, and you are untrained, this isn't your fight, so you'll need to contact someone who can help you.
911 is actually still the best option in dire situations, because unless you are an exorcist, and you have means to restrain him, you will have to call in for help. This is for your safety and his.

Well, he mentioned this in the demon thread in the beginner section, and I don't think he has come back since. However, it should have been taken care of as of a few nights ago, if I'm being told correctly. A member of the forums thinks she was able to take care of it, but confirmation would be nice if you ever come back alter ego.
