New here.

Post by eternal_undone »

Hi everyone. I'm a recent college graduate in my early twenties trying to get back into occult studies. I used to spend every weekend reading materials and looking into things that interested me. While I was in college, I had less time to study it. I'm hoping to reignite my interest a bit now. I am very drawn to psychic practices and have been doing Tarot, palm, and intuitive readings for a very long time. I also am interested in astral projection. I have some experience with it, but I am not quite at the point where I can do it consciously whenever I want. Tradition-wise, I'm fairly non-committed but I like reading about the left-hand path, chaos magic, personal daemons, etc. There's really no tradition that I'm flat-out uninterested in, but I'm trying to narrow my focus a bit and maybe meet some interesting people along the way.

Narrowing your focus is a must if you want to accomplish something, otherwise you'll end up knowing lot of theory about more areas, but having less to no experience in those areas.
You can have more areas of interest in your life, but deal with them just one at a time and try to fully focus on it.
About astral projection, i recently started to practice as well , to get to do it consciously.
So far, the method that best suits me is the one when i stay on my back, relax all the muscles in my body, then intend to project. The vibrations intensity of the body is a sign that i'm getting close to it. I know this because i did it a while ago (mostly by default), and had the same feelings.
