how do we recieve knowledge from spirits?

I posted this on the ceremonial majik page but dont practice any formal ceremonial majik and think that it might be good to ask chaotes also. I am aware that the nature of chaos majik is for instant results and less about developing abilities to accomplish the work, nor relying upon developed tools (or say conjuring the 28 moon aspects for specific issues within astrological time frames).
But its still an important question.

Hey people, I have a question which might be basic to many. And I think and assume that most people who have succeeded with these techniques will give me an answer something along the lines of... as you develop your skills in meditation and awareness these questions will not exist.

So, if someone wants to summon a spirit to teach them a specific skill, what is the measure of success of summoning? I have summoned spirits, and I have interacted with them, but the degree of either information transmission available or the direct learning from a spirit (in a hands on way and not a transmission) is not the same as welcoming a spirit nor sending them to do a task. Does it depend on the spirit?

I would assume that learning in this way is best done with a dream scry, but it could be a quickened ability to learn and resources available to us.

Another question of similar nature to me is this: once we realize that the world runs by magick it is not silly to decide to do majik to bring in wealth or love for its own sake. People will say there is various degrees of success based on your will or the availability for such things to happen, often the most important reminder is for people to act in the real world to make things happen (thereby activating our readiness for success but also preparing for it). I would argue that in some cases success is something that happens without any action on our part, and if there is action on our part it as as much carried by the effectiveness of the spell, or the power of the spirit conjured.

(and then again there can be astrological and psychic winds that affect our outcome which is just as important, say when mars is in retrograde it can affect the mars energy we give and receive, which i believe is equal within our subjective experience internally and our external subjective experience also).

so, is it easier to conjure a spirit to bring about more available monetary resources or is it better to send an intention with a great amount of chi to money enveloping? Is it better to do something formal to bring about a spirit or better to use our own sense of adeptship? Is the formal structure there to guide our mind and the formation of the energy and awaken our own adept ability or is there power in it inherently that we should trust inherently?

You're a tad misinformed on Chaos but that's cool.

To receive information can come from a "spirit" or the Higher Self. You simply go into a meditative state and ask your question. You do however have to signify whom you're asking. I wouldn't recommend a Hey Guys! approach.

I use my Higher Self for all things period so that is whom I always address.

When I want a acquire a thing or be witness to a turning of events... I take all the relevant actions to see to it being so.

A spirit may give knowledge as you are able to receive it. Let the result be the marker of your success. Speculation about result, without laying out very specific initial conditions is a fruitless endeavor.

Also, chaos is as chaos does: My doing (chaos) magick is for the great work and for the lesser works.
