We have been thinking about implementing the benefactor rank here for a while, it's existed but nothing has been done with it until now. Recent pushes for activity on the wiki have presented the need for new moderation roles, and this has led to some revision of the administrative team.
Firstly, I'd like to welcome Stukov as our latest moderator. I know this is something Stukov is keen to do, and I'm sure he will be good at it. Stukov was given moderator and not benefactor because the moderator role is a slightly more proactive role, which I know Stukov can fulfil, and probably will whether I ask him to or not
Khelric has been granted the Editor role to help drive the wiki project effort, he will be helping us to promote use of the wiki, in a project which will hopefully be a huge help to the site ^_^
Next, six members have been granted the Benefactor role, this gives them the power to moderate the board, in recognition of contributions to the forum. First, Venus Satanas, who stayed with us for a time when this site first began, she drew a lot of new members here, and really helped get the framework for the wiki established. Next, Venefica, who also joined in very early days. Venefica kept the forum alive when there were far less members than this, joining in with a great many conversations, and keeping the site active, for which we are grateful.
Belial, for wit and wisdom, and keen perspective. Madavascus for objectivity, persistence, and ongoing contributions for the betterment of the forum. Case for doing so much for the forum in such a short amount of time, and, last but by no means least the wonderful ΙΟΛΗ7, for her compassion, insight, and infinite bag of handy tips and tricks ^_^
