Anyone use Discordian paradigms?

Hey all, I have been a Discordian for years now, and have been trying to design a magickal system based on Discordianism and Eris worship. Has anyone constructed any rituals, ceremonial systems, egregores, ect. using Discordianism as a basis? If so I would love to hear about them and the results you received. Also If anyone else is interested in working on a large project that would construct a magickal Discordian system let me know.

I did this and went completely insane. Try reading my posts from august 2011 to january 2012. Only about 5% of the stuff was true. Some people thought it was very funny. The only reason I survived was because some kind people on this forum came and helped me.

I'm a fan of Eris within the Hellenic paradigm, but Discordianism isn't my deal. Currently working on an Elder Scrolls witch herbal, though, so I do have some ideas about paradigm creation that might be worth sharing. =]

Any chance you can describe the Invocation you used, I would like to try the techniques you used.

Well, it wasn't really what I'd call a "proper" invocation; really all I did was try to embrace Eris and the aspect of Chaos that she embodies - more like a prayer than an actual invocation - but I definitely felt what I can only describe as her "essence" envelope me just don't let yourself stifle that madness-laughter that wells up!

On that note though, I do plan on doing a full, proper invocation of Eris soon... When I get to it, I'll let you know

So let us be just that, the Chaos that in unseen to the unenlightened. Zen Jesters that prank to enlighten and use Magick to shatter the grey faced paradigms, sigils, egregores, etc.

Here's one meditation method I learned from our great work with Eris so far:


I was Pinealized by Eris yesterday. She gave me the most joyous of Discordian meditations. I looked and looked but couldn't find any out there, so I asked Eris and sure and shit she came through. Gotta love a reliable dealer!

Introducing The Puffy Cloud Meditation.

Find a field, yard, lazy boy, or really anything where you can get comfortable.

Praise Eris and partake in her fruits (Cannabis or whatever sacrament you partake in to help relax)

Gaze at puffy white clouds as they sail across the ocean sky.

Keep Gazing for anywhere from 15min-1hours+

Any thoughts that arise let pass,

Do not struggle and lets any thoughts flow like the clouds in the sky

Relax meditate and reach enlightenment.

When finished Hail Eris and leave a Golden Delicious inscribed with her name.

There has been a major FLUXTHROB in my slice of space lately. Indeed I have found it necessary to begin to collect bits of discarded wood and metal. Last night at 3:00~4:00am I dragged the rusted, mouldering remains of a burned up recliner I found scattered around a clearing in the forest in the park. [crazy] I can write run-on sentances!

I am compelled by this image! I am compelled by that word: Bilongo, medicine.

I am compelled by the visions I recall. Those strangely dimensioned visions from that power plant Sally! She has been my ally almost as long as Eris, and Mary Jane.

I carried it home in two loads. One load, the second of the two: I tied it up with black rope. A black rope whose true mojoification process can never be spoken of. (And so no other could truly replicate the rite...) But lets just say it involves a virgin and a whore and talismanic-paintings-as-serenades.

I was compelled by that strange nine-pointed star that can be used as an analogy for those non-euclidean spherical cubes within spherical cubes within spherical cubes. I dragged the burnt up peices of rusty metal and distressed, charred wood down into the concrete stairwell on the back of my house. I arranged the two loads into some patter dictated by ERISIAN mojos and jomos. I got a great big pickle jar. I drew up a drawing sigil and put in a magnet, and Mary Mane and Zatan-baccy. I rolled it around five long rusty nails and screws. I tied it up with white, mint waxed dental floss and dressed the whole thing in tiger balm. I chanted my HAIL ERIS' and hotncoldhotncoldhotncolds and Cumtaluife. I took the jar and consecrated it as a cache of art supplies that draws more free art supplies. Then dressed it with tiger balm and put in various other curios. Mugwort, a rusty break pad from the side of the road. Seven rusty screws and nails. More 'baccy. A pinch of Mary Jane. Smoke, a rusty strip of metal and nails from the chair's upholstery, with a bit of wood attached. Some black ash twigs. Set up some wood totems around the assemblage. More smoke. Smoke up the whole stairwell, bathing all the curios in smoke and HAILs, HAILING ERIS throughout. Smoke, Smoke, Smoke, always chanting. Spit in the mojo-jar to make sure my essence is in the art supplies. Breathing my life into all the art-curios and totems that lean about.

I know I must build it! That crooked reliquary cabinet, of she who is best left unmentioned. I dream it. I dream it now! I see!!!!! [zomg]

More wood will come to me!

I was in the stairwell earlier

I smoked some bowls with my cat and my juju.

I was examining the tool marks on antique wood-carved cat juju figure I acquired.

As I recognized the mark a raven swooped past the stairwell, ominously going khrau~~~~~k khrau~~~~~k. I knew the tool mark, and how the artisian had in those past times, when making that juju, stroked the wood with the tool to make the aershaeps on le cate. I have to work in two and a half hours.

It dawned on me (the making of the marks,) as the whoosh of feathers on air and that ominous khrau~~~~~k khrau~~~~~k. I saw that artisian's working in my minds eye. I saw the making of the juju, at it's parralelelele to my selection of a burly branch and cutting and shaping thereof into a cat juju of some-like shape and nature.

I also rearanged the stairwell burnt up mouldering recliner juju. Fed the jar o jujus... I am waiting four more nights, this one included for the magnet to fix. Once it has the right jujus innit, I will incorporate it into a multijomo mojo hand. I will do it in the names of ERIS and Lucky youdoo saint, Pope Apostle Van Van Mojo, KSC. Also maybe St. Cyprian of Antioch. As he has been finding his way into my (f)ARTs the days lately.
