Is this Fate or Free Will ?

Post by kimbal »

I have a problem - one that needs clarification at least. I'm turning to Occultists because I see them as more aware than those I have tried to get past clarification from.

I've noted the same universal dynamics happening with other people, and also in Tv news events ( though they are quite unaware of the big picture ), as well as personally experiencing it.

The universal dynamics generally go like this : -

You arrange to do something and even put plans in place to make it all come about.
Then as you start to carry out your planed activity, something out of the blue happens and changes the whole situation.
That something may be and event that you have no input in.

A case example of the above was recently: -

I arranged to see a psychic a couple of weeks ago.
My wife was going to be home that day - it was her day off work.
This left me with the use of our ONE car.
I organized the arrangement to see the psychic at a set time and place.

Then out of the blue, my wife was asked to come into work and fill in for someone who went off ill.
In order "to kill 2 birds with one stone" I decided to drive my wife to work and see the psychic at the arranged time after dropping my wife off. Sounds easy enough.
As we only had one car; I dropped my wife off at her work very close to her start time and went off to see the psychic. But due to the travelling distance and short time frames, road traffic; ect; - I found I was running late by about 30 mins.
Out of courtesy, I rang the psychic to informer her of my delay - as i knew she was waiting for me; but in the same phone call, she then told me she could not wait any longer, as she had other appointments on that day. She seemed very inflexible with making alternate plans.
As a result, I never met the psychic, nor had much of a conversation with her afterwards through email.

The planned meeting was "screwed up" and I consigned myself to the fact it was FATE - and not meant to be. The psychic saw my not coming as "negative energy" I was putting out, hindering me to get her help - she was alive & light healer/psychic.
This circumstantial scenario has happened so often, I now find it futile to make goals and plans, especially with spiritual matters, as something will screw them up. That something is very often a situation driven by other people, that I don't even know and have no contact with in some cases changing my immediate circumstances against my will and plans.

I have checked on this with numerous spirits I'm in contact with and have been told - " "Free Will" is totally illusionary and that all is driven by Fate and Destiny".

I would like to believe I have choice and the freedom to make plans, and carry them out - but as I go through life, I find it is becoming more and more governed by fate. As I have gotten older I have become a hardened fatalist in my outlook on how the universal reality works around us.

As a result, when the opportunity arises, I argue very strongly with Investors and Business people who say you can get rich by applying your "free will" and making things "happen" as they did using certain strategies. People who are in MLM are very aggressive in their reasoning over this subject - as I have found out.
And so I get labelled by these types as being "negative" rather than being a "realist".

Am I crazy - or have others noted the same scenario and come to the same conclusion ?

I would like to understand what it is I am involved with here and if free will can change the course of universal events, how does one practically apply it.
If free will does not exist as some spirits have told me; then what is actually happening when we make a mental decision in our head and physically carry it out ?

Open to your feedback.

well, there is a whole book in there, but I think the simplest and most practical advice I can give you is that you should carry out your acts in life, as if they were "magical acts" - without lust of result.

If you spend too much time worrying about stuff instead of concentrating on the doing of it, you will inevitably run into trouble. Go about your business EXACTLY AS IF YOU HAD FREE WILL and you will find in time that you have it.

And don't listen to spirits unless they are tightly bound and answering within their sphere. Those suckers will tell you anything otherwise.
"The world is made of many pages
And every page contains a world
We flicker through them in the daytime
But in the night become unfurled."
