I was just looking at a bunch of pictures of Santa Muerte on the net and got reminded of something I saw in meditation once. There was a man who appeared to be a king around where his throne was. He and his throne were outside (I think kings in some places had their thrones outside a long time ago). I remember he had fairly short black hair. It was night time. There was what appeared to be a pathway there, but it was made of human skulls. Sort of like someone dug a shallow trench and filled it with skulls and the trench was deep enough that the skulls were just about even with the ground around the path. There were some skulls that were scattered around, too, but mostly they were in this pathway.

A bunch of men on white horses came riding in (I think there were 5 of them). They rode in a circle and swiped their swords at nothing within the circle. There was a cliff that was obscured by clouds or thick fog, beside where they were riding. One by one they all leaped their horses into this fog and off the cliff.

Then, (from my point of view) I was emerging from a cloud. It was daytime, now. I saw an Eagle flying somewhere in front of me (heard him...er...chirp?). He was wearing a gold crown on his head. Below, there was a lake. On the lake there was a blue light/form in the shape of a sailboat. When I was close to the water I saw some twigs (I think that's what I saw), but then the twigs formed a 7.

I saw something that...I think it started out as a butterfly and then changed and eventually was this oval shaped thing floating in the air to my right (the lake is to my left). I don't remember the colors, but it had a lot of rings and they were different colors. A 7 (possibly the 7 from the lake) came along and joined the oval, which then became (or atleast seemed to represent) a 70.

It's incredibly rich in symbolism and you describe it all very clearly,which helps a lot.

I have some ideas about this,but I 'd like to reflect for a while,before saying anything.I must admit it carried me visually and I think I've seen that pathway myself,somewhere too.More later.

Ok. I'm seeing if I can get some help with an element of this past life thingy. It wasn't a memory really (not that I could tell), but it did seem to be trying to tell me something or....something...

Errrr....ok, well, it was early along in my finding out that I was the person this was about. I'm not going to go into too much detail with the vision itself, but there were a couple of things that I don't really understand and they seem like they might be things that are common when people start remembering.

One thing was a key and the other thing was a black pit. In the beginning, I was walking down the street at night (it was raining). He spots a gold key on the road (I think he sees the key first...). Anyway, then there is this pitch black pit in the road that wasn't there before. Actually, I think it went between the pit being there and the road being fine and between the key being there by itself and the key being right before the pit. Sorry, I've confused things. It's probably not very clear. But anyhow, in the main, he's walking down the street sees a gold key, then a pit (a circle shaped pit 2 feet or so across) that is pitch black.

I don't know that anything else would be common, but in any event, he picks up the key and opens the door to one of the buildings (appears to be a house) in the street that he is in. And when he opens it, it turns out to be a hotel/motel/inn and the key is to his room. I'll leave it at that.

I saw a white room. There were things (accents, decorations?) on the wall that were made of gold. The place appeared to be a tomb or a temple. There was someone standing in front of me. I can't remember if it was Anubis or not, but he was smiling....that purity and goodness type of smile. We went to another part of the room near by a gold sarcophagus of a crocodile god ( looked it up and found Sobek, but it also said that Set was associated with crocodiles, so.....). Anyhow, I saw an image of the maybe Sobek standing by himself and it went back and forth between seeing that and the sarcophagus lying there in the room. The sarcophagus opens up (on it's own) and I look inside. It's empty. But more than that. There isn't a bottom. It just goes down. Not like a bottomless pit really. It seemed to have a bottom. Like it went down into a room below the room we were in or something.

Any idea what this might be trying to tell me? It wasn't a dream. I saw it with my eyes closed while doing a tarot reading....well, it was an
e-reading, but yeah,...basically.

Yeah, I thought about a possible Underworld connection, too, since Sobek is associated with it. Still not sure, though.

The darkness in the hole didn't seem malicious. It wasn't even all that dark. I could see down it at least some. It seemed to be another room or another place. I can't say that there was a ladder or anything to get down to it, but it does seem like it could be some sort of a hatch...like a trap door into a lower part of the.....wherever we were.
