So The whole damn box is on hold it seems. Eris has seen to it that I stumble head first into radionics R&D, as the box needs 9 axis rate pots and an azoth-o-knob. But I don't have the know-how to wire it yet. So I have to build 1 and 3 knob radionics boxes. Once I know how to set up pots in series 9 should be no prob.
Also, a helmet input..... Thank god for Uncle Chuckie's patterns being readily available.
Damn I am gonna need a lot of jacks and pots. Good thing there are plenty of old stereos about to salvage from.
I suspect by the time the LeBox is built, I will have discovered a complete method of Discordian radionic-goety and have developed a reasonable intersphere teleocommunications system. [yay]
I also think the R&D might come up with a radionicoscopic-dodgedydidj-psiaudioprojectoscope, a thoughtform radiobirthing cauldron, and perhaps also a portable bat-and-dugout talismanic timemachine for sniffing out future dope. [zomg] All of the aforementioned are in the works.
I do hope St. Cyprian is feeling liberal enough to help with the cauldron.
Also, I was thinking... Wouldn't it be super easy to make a radionics box with a container spell as the witness and a seven day candle (choose your own saint) burning atop the power source. Or, wired into the power source. [tongue]
Or maybe make an orgonite prism with a nice socket for saint candles! I'm not really on the orgonite bandwagon (yet) though.
Anyways its 11:23am. I haven't slept yet and have work in four hours so I had best go enjoy some mary jane.

Before I type the meat of this response, I'll admit that I did not read any of the other posts because it seemed like a waste of time. Also, I probably won't return to this thread after I post. I'm just here to voice my opinion, and thoughts on the subject. That being said . . .
The idea of creating/compiling/organizing a list of rituals/habits/spells/andthesuch pertaining to discordianism really goes against the nature of the paradigm. And I think that what works for one discordian probably wouldn't or, better yet, shouldn't work for another. But, the beauty of the practice is that you don't have to jive with what any other practitioner thinks, feels, or does.
The only two rituals that I think are common place are The Turkey Curse, Canonizing, and Hailing Eris. Beyond that, do what thou wilt, as the saying goes.
As the terrible Rev. Brosef Stallin explained to me once, "Your very existence as a discordian is magic."
If you were to make a compilation of anything, I think it should be the concepts behind making one's own sort of magic in this world.
