Westboro Baptist Church Interviewed
This is hilarious, I stole it from another forum. It's hilarious. [eg]
We live on a placid island of ignorance in the midst of black seas of infinity, and it was not meant that we should voyage far. The sciences, each straining in its own direction, have hitherto harmed us little; but some day the piecing together of disociated knowledge will open up such terrifying vistas of reality, and of our frightful position therein, that we shall either go mad from the revelation or flee from the deadly light into the peace and safety of a new dark age. ~ H.P. Lovecraft

HEAVEN FORBID! Those are my rock. They are in a community near mine and actually housed one of my students when she was in witness protection. The Phelps daughter who now leads the klan was a sheriffs deputy in Topeka at one time. She is now a laughable lawyer. They all live together in a gated community and my student (also a business partner) stayed on the compound while testifying in a trial some years ago. I dress in full wizard garb here and I am sure it is well accepted in part due to those crazies. We need more fundamentalists totally off the padded walls like them.

... woooooooooooowwwwwwwwwwww [eek]
What can you even SAY.
What can you even SAY.
Your head's like mine, like all our heads; big enough to contain every god and devil there ever was. Big enough to hold the weight of oceans and the turning stars. Whole universes fit in there! But what do we choose to keep in this miraculous cabinet? Little broken things, sad trinkets that we play with over and over. The world turns our key and we play the same little tune again and again and we think that tunes are all we are.

Makes you wonder if stupid is contagious, maybe they should be quarantined just in case for the safety of the general public.

These people scare me... [cry]
I was happy to hear that they were finally recognized as a hate group not that long ago though. [thumbup]

quarantine sounds like a brilliant idea, glad I live a very large ocean away from these people...

I live in the city of San Francisco and these people used to occasionally launch their crusades against the heathen here. Their performance protests reminded me of the ships of fools in the Middle Ages.

I went to their webpage and it is very perverted in its own right, including a counter of how many people their god throws in hell since you visited the page! They do love their sadistic fantasies. I also found, in looking a bit deeper, that they apparently pray for people to die (http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2013/02/0 ... 30463.html). Using or attempting to use 'spiritual' power to kill someone is black magic. How ironic that they are really like the Order of 9 Angles!
Whatever my opinion of their doctrines (and theirs is certainly not positive about me) I think they have a perfect right to voice their views as others have to mock them.
