Glagolitic Kaballah

Post by Irin »

I didn't know where to put this post, gnosticism or here, so I've posted it here.

After almost 20 years of study and research I've come to conclusion about atributions of glagolitic letters. Glagolitic is the oldest Slavic script. It was in use among Croatian people untill the beggining of 20th century, when it is was pushed out by latin script. There are several theories about its origins, but the most popular is that the script was invented by st. Cyril sometime in 9th century CE. New researches put the question mark above this theory, so there is no definite answer to that. It is a fact that this script is made for Slavic language, and it was accepted by catholic church as well as latin, greek and hebrew, so there are a lot of christian thematic books, missals, breviaries, but also much of popular literature and legal acts written in glagolitic. Maybe the most famous is the monumental plate called Baščanska ploča (Baška tablet) dated around year 1100, with the earliest mention of some Croatian ruler (king Dmitar Zvonimir) and Croatian name in the native language.

My work started as I wanted to find astrological atributions of the letters, as hebrew kabalists did with hebrew. After years of explorations and experimenting, the real breakthrough came when I analyzed an appearance of zodiacal constellations and found out thet certain letters are exact match to signs of Zodiac. The rest matched the hebrew, either by numerical value, or it was simple sound equivalent.

If anyone is interested to see what I've done, visit my blog at http://vileslavirin.blogspot.com/...any suggestions are welcomed, every discussion is praiseworthy.

I must admit, very interesting work! Your blog/website was very easy to navigate and the information was placed as an easy to read format. May I ask, what first started you on this twenty year journey?
Whether you think you can or can't, you're right.

Thank You indeed...

When I was 19 I got first Tarot deck and the book about it (Crowley's Thoth Tarot and his Book of Thoth), and in that time I heard for kabbalah for the first time. It was interesting to me to play with words and numbers, but I realized that the nummeric system is very much not adaptable for language I commonly use, Croatian. Nevertheless, I used the hebrew system, but was never really satisfied with results. Then I got a book on Glagolitic script, which was not very common in Croatia during that time, and was surprised that there are numerical values of letters, same as in hebrew or greek, so I started to experiment with that, and here I am.
In fact, I am kinda obsessed with sounds. Any kind, music, noise, speach...and I always wondered why the certain words are always used in prayers, mantras...why certain words have certain sounds? why are certain words more powerful than other? Why is some music so uplifting? Everything has certain frequency, The Universe is made of music.
Also, letters are symbols. Written symbols are also used in talismans for example, so I was interested why certain letters have certain shape. I found out that almost every answer to my questions can be found by looking to the clear night sky, stars, constellations, everything is there. The mythology stories are all written in the stars.
So, now I am finisnihng my work on the book. It is almost done, lecturing is under way, and then a great job to find a publisher. I thought that it wouold be good to publish some info in english for everyone to understand. I am currently translating the book to english (i'm doing it myself), and I have a great person who will translate it to Russian. Who knows what's next?
