Evoking Aseliel for reconciliation

Hello, all.
I'm pretty new to magick, other than a few sigil charges that I did in my teenage years (with mixed results); that freaked me out a bit to leave it alone for a while, but I've been interested in the topic ever since.

Right now, I'm trying an invocation to Aseliel for (Mother of all cliches! Brace yourselves!) trying to get back with my girlfriend, who broke up with me on early january, after a bad month where I was depressed after being kicked out of a job; also some of my health issues contributed; we've had no contact since the breakup (my choice, I didn't want to talk still being sad or angry, also I needed to fix my health thing, which was an important factor.)

I'm using the technique described in McGrath's "Practical Magickal Invocation", with the variation of using a triangle made out of tape instead of a mental one. I tried it twice, so far; as I felt that the first one didn't work. In any case, both still has to bear some results; I'll let you know. A couple of questions, tho'; since in McGrath's description the triangle is mental, he doesn't specify, but, does the incense go inside the triangle? Between the triangle and the circle? Or, is it even relevant? Also, he specifies that Asaliel's sigil looks something like this: >--o , but I also found online that there's also this one: http://www.cubeupload.com/files/3e0e00sigil.jpg

I'm mostly using the material I can find online, and it's not easy finding a lot of the books and stuff I need where I live for more complex stuff, there's just one store and it leaves much to be desired...

Now, bear in mind that, with the same intent, I did fire a couple of sigils some weeks before (Maybe I'm overloading it?) Anyways, with the sigils, I got, again, some interesting, mixed results (if you're interested I can post what happened, but maybe that's for another sub-forum, I dunno.)

I hope I can help in your quest. The sigil you have placed a link the picture is the seal of Asteliel. I wanted to make sure this is the entity you wish to evoke, correct? The "t" was missing from your post and I wanted to be very clear. Asteliel is a rank of King under Carnesiel with eight chief spirits/presidents that you make also contact through him, each having their own abilities. If I am on the right track, let me know so I can help you further with the evokation details (triangle and such).

Bare in mind that this is only my opinion.. but if you actually reconciliate with the girl.. because of the request to Aseliel or not.. your relation will always be stained with that morally questionable action.

Do you really want to have that on your conscious?

In my opinion if you really love the girl man up and go talk to her.
