LBRP - What it DOESN'T do...

Hi All

Last week I got jumped by an entity whilst using LBRP to clear a room.

Okay, so my psychic protection wasn't good enough - I know that now (to my eternal shame) but it begs the following question which I offer for debate:-

If the LBRP clears an area, how come it doesn't clear whoever is in that area? I performed the BRLP in several spaces after I got jumped (at the time not realising what had happened) so why wasn't the nasty zapped by the ritual?

I've had a similar experience back in 2007 when I was experimenting with the Lesser Banishing Ritual of the Pentagram for the few times. At the time I was performing the ritual about twice daily.

I had concluded that the intrusion came from within as it was banished out of my being. Do you think this is a possibility in your case?

I don't know why one would use a horse and carriage to do their groceries in this day and age...

The possibility of the "nasty" coming from within is an interesting one, thanks, SSormany. I was in a place where a friend has been having big problems with a neighbour who, allegedly, is a drug dealer - so there are very likely some bad entities lurking in the vicinity...

As for why LBRP? - it's a crackin' ritual that is fun to do, akimbomoss! It has all that collective power of use for over 100 years - which is a pretty good reason in my book.

I would be interested to discuss a more contemporary method but also look forward to an answer to my original question.

Ok there is nothing wrong with using a horse and carriage it's just that I would only do it during tourist season.

You can do a little banishing before the big one. Stick your thumb out and rub it against the other palm of your hand outward. Do this for 8 directions N, NE, E, SE, S, SW, W, NW and 2 for up and down. What I like about this is it's one for every sephiroth.

This could be multiple things.

Generally speaking when you perform an LRP, is it on you, not the room. You can use it for a room, of course, but you need to make sure you properly delineate the circle. You also need to make sure you're sealing the circle, drawing the pentgrams properly, given the signs properly, and so forth.

However, sometimes you need more than an LBRP to banish something, such as an SBRP or LBRH. Enochian energy, for example, does not disappear after an LBRP.

If you've been working with entities it's also a good idea to give a License to Depart first. Some beings, in particular, are not happy when you try to kick them out, but will leave in an instant when asked nicely to go.

What do you mean you "got jumped"?????? I've been doing it for many years daily and I've never been jumped and it has
ALWAYS worked as it should....I have had spiritual entities reveal themselves after but that has always been said about
the LBRP.....it attracts on the astral but your in no danger....I eagerly seek that....It's part of the learning...How long
have you been doing the LBRP? I think perhaps your just not used to the spirit realm yet. It can be quite disconcerting at first
and even when you've been doing it for years....That being said I always enjoy every experience with the "powers that be"...

*necromances the thread* I'm going to hope Sefonial is right. I've been wanting to incorporate the LBRP into my daily routine, as its one of the few things i can do without a book or supplies and y'all talking about entities being invasive is kind of disconcerting. Oh, well! I'll give it a go, anyway. I tried it once. I can still clearly picture the first pentagram, in the exact place i first drew it, so it's kind of making me think i should carry on, if my imagination and memory are that good. What will be, will be, i suppose. I think to much, anyway.

The ritual is a channel to express your intentionality and your energy. If nothing is put into it, then, like Albion long ago, it's just waving your arms around in a weird mime. There has to be a connection, particularly with the names used.

Hm. I've read differently. I'm thoroughly confused, then. I get the names. As i said in my intro, I'm Christian. So respecting the angels' names i get. That intention thing i'm not getting, though. I thought it was almost a way to clear the air and raise a bit of energy, everyday? Is there a book i should read or link i should follow? I was sure i had atleast that right. I'm here to learn, and eventually to help, so hit me.


edit to add: I've honestly only heard the name "Albion" in a video game. That is how noobish i can be in terms of occultism. *shrug* Noob. That'll change, soon enough.
