Healing and the information model

Hello there. I have just finished reading the exciting article of "Models of Magic" and I have a question.
Regarding the information magic: In the information model the Cybermagician will transmit an informational "healing matrix" into the patient's system (or somehow create a "morphic field" of health and self-healing) and let the patient's energies take it from there to do the job of their own accord i.e. automatically. This rests on the assumption that the energies are still powerful enough to get the work done, otherwise he will either jump back into the energy model to provide the patient with the additional energies required or install another information matrix to create an influx of the power desired. This quote brings me to mind the Reiki situation where someone "sends" good things to someone who is in need.... Is this correlation correct or not? [confused]

I don't think I've every got my head around the information model completely in a practical way but i would say your reiki example would fit better in the energy model then the information model.The info model would work more like a virus so you implant the "healing virus" into the patient then let it infect the host. I haven't really worked much with the model so i don't have a good practical example for you.

Reiki falls within the Energy Model. I would say first to use a Healing Informational Matrix and then an Energetic Technique. You first need to create and activate a template of primordial information of the particular individual to help him recover its health state then you use an Energy technique or hybrid technique ie informational/energy.
