I am Skadi. The grand wizard/magus of the world. I have lived 5,000 years and was born in the Caucus mountains to a small tribe. I've died and resurrected more times than I can count.

I'm Scott. I've studied the occult for many years. I've tried following different paths, instructions, books, etc and always came up with a dissatisfied feeling. I've finally decided to form my own unique path. I don't know exactly how to describe it. But I'm drawn to creating my own structure. Taking things I like from different places, and unifying them with an underlying structure that really makes sense and progresses to a specific goal(s).

In short, I'm well read but not well practiced. I can't count how many books I've read on the occult

Anyway, I hope to draw on all your extensive knowledge in different paths.

Welcome to the Forum. In my experience, books are sign posts and while the thinking & experiences of the author may be valid (my conclusion is the largest share of occult books are probably frauds) that these are highly subjective matters and your experiences may be just as valid but at some variance from what is on the page. Your own personal experiences from a grounded and sober position are far more important.
