I can also work from nothing or improvise to suit what is around me. [thumbup]

My toys are a luxury rather than a necessity, but most of them have sentimental attachments that I can utilise also, when working in certain areas.
It's just fun for me to play around though, mostly.
I just really like to experiment and I have an intense curiosity that makes me want to explore the potential of 'things'.

All the things! [greensmile]

Haha, just noticed I am on my 3333rd post.

All the threes!

My sitting room looks like a mash up of an Alchemist's lab and a Witches lair, lol.I have aquired many more interesting thnigs since my last post here and like you I often find things, apparently randomly that turn out to have significance later on.
Lol :P seems we share a collectors passion, and have to say it never gets enough for me to get stuff with those specific energies for different needs. After finding such a thing's significance, and having a rounded collection just feeling like Siegfried when opened tresure box in dragon's cavern [happy]
I also find it difficult to keep organised records.
I have a ton of paperwork with scrawled cryptic symbols and arrows and words in no particular order.I have to trance out to read them properly.

I think I need a secretary,lol.
Lol i was wandering about me... ;D just couldnt find a way ever when you get told for the 151st time 'keep journal' 'keep work record' and when working I just can't find the way for an order floating in some other world most probably and have no touch or orientation in time and space. When I write something down it usually has the meaning in the same moment, later I lost the track what is it at all, read the same thing in many other ways just don't get the same thing again.

Have to return to the tools coz i have offtopicness mania often, so tell me when I go far...
The dagger I have. No matter I followed Crowley's tools when looking up for what 2 put on the altar, and I was looking for a Sun dagger, it came out to be a Neptunian tool. Used to mess with the reality and reprogram myself. Also put any illusion on the target. I got it recently but now I see its a cool thingie.
Generally I use tools to make the physical part of the ritual easier, I dont say i couldn't do without it, but tools become heavy with energy the more I use it. So they contain something valuable already.
I see it as pets [grin2]

Off the main tools, I've got couple of good stuff im workin with. Id mention a replica of prehistoric sacrifical vessel from Balkans. Its a square perfectly concave vessel thingie, great for burning stuff, i need a fireplace too, fill it with embers and burn anything. (I took from voodoun all the sacrifices can be replaced with powders, mentioned by Crowley too).
And my sacrifical burine, has a cross on sheath, used to bring stuff to the mentioned brazier.
I have a shisha which I consider its smoke has all the elements in it, put in a far corner where no one notices it any more for elemental charging, but i use an oil lamp to charge every ritual. Im attracted 2 pyramids, but plasma balls i saw over here look awsum too.

I have a cudgel as a staff, a wooden cane with a hilt of black electrical tape with which I've been beaten with, as a sword, a wand also wrapped in electrical tape, although more decoratively, a red chalice, an incense burner with a pentacle on it, a smooth stone disk, a clay ashtray full of dirt and semi-precious stones as a censor, and a scalpel as the ritual blade that has been used for all of my scarification. I may also have on my altar a ruler and protractor for the purpose of drawing sigils and whatnot. There is also a collection of pretty rocks, a magnifying glass that I made at work, a peacock feather, candles, and an assortment of powders for burning on coals.

This may sound unconventional even for chaos magick, but one of my prefered "tools" is one of the cars I have, bought and modified specifically for the purpose, heh! I find certain types of driving excellent for achieving the trance/gnosis type states of consciousness, kind of "highway hypnosis" as it were but with an additional focus on an underlying goal/intention/desire - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Highway_hypnosis

I don't have any physical tools :( maybe occasionally things like clothing and technology can be useful... My primary tools for magic would probably be things like:

- belief/paradigm
- language
- time
- space

etc..

Even that is sufficient but I would always encourage people to get a bell. Bells are awesome. Collect [wink]

Woo, pretty pictures!

Nahemah, I'm not sure precisely what I'm look at - is that pentagram design on the outside of a crystal ball? It's gorgeous. [shock]

It's a crystal ball with a laser etched pentacle in the middle and It can spin around on it's clear glass stand too.

Ialso have a smaller one with an eight rayed star in the middle,it's not in this set up,though.

The rocks are from a favourite beach and are rather rare examples of their kind.

The plate is shiny black acrylic and curves upwards at the corners.

I do like to play by candlelight, lol. [crazy] [grin]
