Do you believe in faith??

Post by Atzmuth »

For me its not logical. And I dont find the concept of a divine plan reasonable. Considering the fact that anything can happen anytime. And since we have a willpower unlike animals anything can happen. So to sum I dont believe in fate. But its my idea so what do you think?
There is no Lucifer to folow, no God to obey
There is no Hell for punishment, no Heaven for reward
There are no Demons to fear, no Angels to listen
There is you and your fate
Wake up Alice

I'm not a determenist, but I believe in causality-chains and that we sometimes can get very trapped in them.

I do however think that sometimes there is such a thing as guided happenings.
You always have the free will to choose which road to take, but if you relax and let go you can sometimes feel yourself being tugged in a certain direction.
It's not all just chance and coincidence. Sometimes shit happens that I can't explain logically and they seem to happen for the benefit of me.

If I give out a certain vibe to "the universe" it seems to respond.

I'm not sure about divine plans, mostly because I'm a seeker agnostic atheist, but everything definitely happens for a reason. "Random" doesn't exist and never will. Nature isn't random, our minds aren't random, nothing is random. Everything happens for a reason, just usually hard to know what. And, I don't mean a reason someone thought up with. I mean a reason as in z occurred because x and y interacted and x and y interacted because they were moving at f and l speeds in a certain slope, thus.......YADAYADAYADABORINGMATHANDSCIENCE

You get what I mean, right?
Knowledge is power, but power corrupts. The combination of will, wisdom, and moral is the protective trinity against corruption.

I won't believe what you say until I get proof of it, but I shall consider it before said proof is seen.

My ultimate dream is to affect the world around me without getting too much attention while also watching the progress of humanity and enjoying life to its fullest for an eternity.

I believe, more or less, that free will exists within a context which is predetermined to a certain degree (although predetermined by the self, at least in the case of more mature individuals, so to what extent it falls under the concept of determinism is arguable).

Kind of like having your course chosen for you before you enter University, but still being able to pick specific subjects and electives as you go through and the nature of your participation in those subjects and your time on campus in general (how attentive you are, the specific focus of different projects, how much time you spend socializing with fellow students, etc).

that gives itself to the chisel-
cut by cut it is honed to perfection"

Fate is a good way to describe the past.

The future is pure potential.

If you believe what you believe, isn't that "Faith?' Knowledge and opinion are two different things..... at least some of the time. Why would you care what others believe anyway?

Becouse if I dont listen what others say I cant improve myself. Maybe I am wrong who knows? Not to be stuck by my dogmas and to enlarge my view about life and universe I also need others opinions thats why, your belief and reasons for believing to it is decisive for me.

Fair enough. In my opinion faith is for fools and cattle. Any choices I make are derived from analytic calculation combined with intuitive meta-cognitive contextual extrapolation. To confuse what I want to be with what is is the height of folly and is why there are so many angry disillusioned fools running around.

Obviously, I do. I'm a witch and a priestess. Both require belief in the unprovable.
