I found these for you.I hope they are useful in some way.

I 'm not an Alcoholic nor have I attended AA ,but I am aware that many people do not find the AA twelve step programme works for them.Good luck on your journey and I'll post more info should I find anything else.

I think a secular approach may be better for you.

I used to be a member of AA and other sects of the 12-steppin universe. Higher Power is just what they say it it.......or can be at least. The history of AA extends from a group known as the Oxford Group, which was a strictly xian organization. What AA did was give the Oxford Groups steps an agnostic twist, so that even atheists could use the steps, but make no mistake.......the steps are meant to be a backdoor to xianity. That if one can grasp the concept of "something" today, then tomorrow maybe they will be able to look to the nazarene. Hogwash.

The problem u will face is when you get an xian sponsor, and they tell you that Satan cannot be used as a higher power. I have seen this happen even when other, less shunned deities are employed. The other problem is that in the first step, you must admit powerlessness. Satanists are NOT powerless. Step 2 can be done, but then step 3 kinda strays from the basic beliefs of satanism. Turning your will and life over to Satan is not what Satanism is all about. This is a xian view of needing to be led around by yer deity like a sheep. What you may find is that after practicing Satanism for a while, that you may not even need AA or the steps, as, once empowered within yourself, there will be no need for outside help. The power is in you, you just have to unlock/harness/direct it. That is more than likely the end result you may find.

I was a dope shooting addict for many, many years. I tried the 12-steps their way, and xianity never helped me. When i turned to the Left Hand Path, i found (within a year) that my whole self had changed, and that i only desired to do things that would better myself (and drugs werent it). I havent had a desire to use in over 7 years. No steps. No meetings

I don't see the problem, why even bring up your satanic spirituality in the context of working the AA program? If someone asks what your higher power is, tell them it's private, or give them a vague answer (something like "the universe") which doesn't contradict your worldview.

Next question:

"I'm into pornography, but I don't know if it will be good for my whoredom's career to reveal I'm a Satanist, what should I do?"

Next the lepers will come, asking how the residents of Spinalonga will take their new religious beliefs, then the cancer patients etcetera.

Why would someone who wants to quit drinking try to follow Satanism in the first place? My suggestion: Consider replacing alcohol with cocaine and then come back with a better question. That's what I did at least, but not because I wanted to stop drinking. I just couldn't find much euphoria anymore because tolerance is a bitch, so I replaced alcohol with cocaine and everybody is happy. Well, at least I am, who the fuck cares about the others?
