Problems creating new accounts

Some people are having trouble creating a new account. This is being looked into. If you create a new account and don't receive an activation email, then please try again. Please make sure first however that the email hasn't gone to your spam folder, and that you have given it enough time.

We apologise for the inconvenience caused, and for any distress this may cause you.

I now have the ability to activate accounts. If you definitely haven't received an activation email, please email support@occultforum.org. If you have a friend already on the forum, getting them to PM me with your user name is also fine [thumbup]

We have been advised that our spam filter is playing up from time to time, and may accidentally ban members if it thinks they are a spammer. If you are blocked from logging on, please let us know through the support email address, which is support@occultforum.org, or let one of your friends on the forum know and ask them to get in contact with one of the staff. Any one of the staff can unblock accounts that have been flagged as spam-bots.

Please don't think that you have been banned from the forum if you cannot access it using your sign-on. If you are banned, you will be advised directly. We do not ban people on a whim - we follow a strict process.

Some new accounts are being blocked during creation because the spam filter associates the email address used with a potential spam site. I can fix this however. If you try to create an account and it just fails to work, please either contact us via the email address support@occultforum.org or ask someone you know who has an account to contact one of the staff direct.
