Greetings
Hello my fellows,
I am very glad to be (once again) a part of an informative and interconnected group. This being said- I hope to learn much, and share my knowledge with all of you. My key strength is the relation between the conscious, subconscious and the metaphysical. I have noted that there is actually an area of the site specifically dedicated to such and I am very excited to peruse the contents.
My personal interests aside, I am a Jack-of-all-Trades so to speak, and have branded myself a general Spiritualist. I have had many failures as well as many very profound successes. I have studied Spiritual Satanism, Taoism and Daoism, Buddhism, Wicca, Norse Mythology, Greek and some Roman mythology and have practiced with all of them. That being said- I have removed myself from much of the Magickal world for several years so that I may better understand myself before continuing my practices. I am back, and I am glad to be here.
Thank you,
Titor~

Re: Greetings
Welcome to the forum, JohnTitor. I'm guessing you would have some interesting views on Austin Osman Spare if the relation between the conscious, subconscious and the metaphysical is one of your key interests?
Re: Greetings
To be honest- as is my way; I have done little research on Spare despite many recommendations by my fellow theologians and spiritualists. I have only recently found his works on Sacred-texts and a dear friend is trying to find a site he visited that contains the illustrations to go with his writings. I have recently finished anathema of Zos much to my pleasure- though I cannot say that I really understand Spare if his works are automatic writings. To be brief- my understanding is little and my knowledge very little. I aim to finish all of his collective works (w/o paying as I am loathe to pay for information that should be free). My next goal is to read his "Book of Pleasure," so that I may read something written of his own volition rather than something potentially channeled such as the AoZ. Any suggested reading material of significant relation would be much appreciated.

Welcome John,
You're post has a wonderful energy to it. Our paths seem rather similar. I look forward to growing with you. Again, welcome. [thumbup]

@ Manon and Palinrom-
Thank you both for the welcomes and I am excited to share as well as learn. Honesty and Love is my path <3 There will of course be zero practices posted by me dealing with projection of discord as I have learned a valuable lesson in my earlier years of study. If anyone has suggested reading material similar to Spare or Crowley I would be very interested to read it

The Wikipedia entry on Spare is actually rather good. I've added a link to it below:JohnTitor wrote:Any suggested reading material of significant relation would be much appreciated.

Check out the references on that link - it will direct you to further possible reading material. [grin]
