This is really strange, why is it that sometimes I go black and can't remember anything when I go to sleep? Sometimes I can be seen/heard sitting up and uttering something then lying back down, talking while sleeping by those visiting the room or passing near it.
I can be heard talking in a manner that I normally would not and cannot recall a single thing but just sleeping and waking up. Like being "switched off" and turned back on.
I am not conscious at all when it happens and can't recall anything, could another entity be sharing my physical body or could I be tapping into someone else's experience of an event?
For example after an event of an alleged bomb threat I was heard yelling in my sleep about finding/seeing the bomb. I can't recall a single thing when I wake up and after I've had a sleep my emotions are often 100% clear. I never recalled being in such a scenario, talking like that or moving.
Why is it that I am completely different when asleep from how I am now? Its like having different memories and a different personality when asleep. When things like that happen it is as if my consciousness and personality are completely switched, its a totally different set of memories so that's why I probably can't remember a thing.
Whats the issue? I have a feeling I may have missed out on a load of important info if anything wanted to communicate with me because of this, my asleep self sometimes having NOTHING to do with this self and is like an independent/standalone self and consciousness which I have no control over whatsoever and is not a part of me as shown by what I've just said. Like having a will of its own.
Could I be unknowingly doing a form of astral projection automatically when I fall asleep and wander around? I personally plan to try recording myself when I fall asleep next time to see what other kind of things I could be saying.

i've been known to do that at times. i'm pretty sure its just a form of sleep walking and talking.
does it happen to you when you go to bed really tired? if so then its unlikely you would remember it if you woke up halfway in.

It is natural when you are asleep that multiple brain centers are inactive and resting, including the centers of memory, conscious thought. Centers such as hearing, balance & posture, breathing, these tend to remain performing far far below normal awake levels. Light sleepers are who's brains wake up fast and easily, heavy sleepers are thode who's don't. Personally, I'm told I move a lot in my sleep yet I never seem to remember these movements!

When I sleep and wake up it's like my state of mind has reset after waking up. Which is how I have procrastination issues sometimes. Dedicating myself the previous day and after waking up its like I've reset and all cleared.
