Nothing happens, at all. Help? (Goetia/Evocation)

Hello! So I tried to summon two different goetic intentites with no success at all. And I wonder what's the issue? Am I doing something wrong? Do they just ignore me? Are they not real?

What I used was:

- a little Altar
- black candles
- his Sigil that I drew on paper
- a little triangle of manifestation (drew that on paper too)
- a black circle that I put around me with thread
- a black mirror

I said the following words:
"(Name), I call you forth into this triangle to take form before me and to speak in a voice which I understand. (Name), by the powers of darkness I call you here! (Name), come!"

I then thanked him for coming and introduced myself. I had a clear deal and desire that I told him (had it written on paper) and also offered something in return to him. I was respectful and polite at all times.
But literally nothing happened. I didn't feel a presence, I didn't hear or see anything. There was just black void in my mind and silence. I just proceeded with the ritual and behaved like he accepted the deal, so I fulfilled my part of the offering... even though I have no clue if he even heard me at all.

Because of this experience I thought, well maybe Bune doesn't like me or is too busy. I remembered that I picked Agares when I rolled a random Internetdice with 72 numbers and that Agares really spoke to me. Not only because of the way he was described, but also the fact that he's associated with the Aries zodiac sign (as I am) and that the look of his Sigil really sparked inside of me. I definitely thought that Agares would listen to me.

So I did the same ritual with Agares and asked him to contact Bune and confirm the deal I made was accepted and also to let someone who wronged me run away and cast her out of my sight. I offered him something as well, and as with Bune I was very respectful. Again, I had no real... reaction or anything happening. I just started an inner "dialogue" pretending I was talking to him and that he accepted. As stupid as it sounds, I almost started to cry because I was frustrated and felt too stupid or unworthy to get an experience, while people on the Internet seem to have almost no problem to get some.

Anyways... any ideas?

How much magical training have you undergone - Do you meditate and practice energy work? Do you have experience with smaller scale rituals (banishing, etc)? Have you developed your clairvoyance yet?

Evocation isn't just a recipe of props and incantations, there's a strong component of mental and spiritual work involved - if you haven't undergone the proper training, then yeah, you'll end up with no results.

Also - and don't take this personally - your setup seems a little shoddy. A triangle drawn on a piece of paper? A circle of string? Yes there are magicians who can evoke under those circumstances (or with less), but for a first timer you probably want something a little more extensive. Your incantation could also use a little work, "by the powers of darkness" is the kind of spooky sounding but meaningless phrase which works on TV but means nothing in the real world. Which powers? Why are they dark? Why should they communicate your summons to the desired entity in the first place?

The Goetic system is very advanced, and if you're not putting a lot of effort into the construction of the rituals and cutting corners, you're gonna get what you pay for. The paraphernalia doesn't have to be exact, but you've got to do more than just string and paper. Every item used in this system is absolutely drenched in symbolism, and it all has a purpose. Study the symbolism behind it all and get a feel for why it's all used. A lot of magicians will eschew the abrahamic intentions of Solomon's magick, and that's okay, but you should still be able to see where he was going with the symbolism. Think of it like a bunch of machines that preform a certain function. more elaborate machines that are for more elaborate tasks.

If you can, go to a fabric store and buy some fabric that you can paint a large circle on and fill it with relevant symbolism, make a lamen seal from a sheet metal disk and paint the seal on it, preform proper banishing rituals and complete evocations.

Mindset also has a large level of importance in evoking Daemons as well. If you've ever played the Bloody Mary game before, it is the same concept. You have to scare the piss out of yourself at first to open your mind to suggestion. Try listening to some Lustmord when you do it and burn a combination of cedar leaves, mullein and sulfur to make an infernal, mysterious smelling incense. that sort of thing. Set and setting are key. Don't just do it in your living room, really go all out with it.

Hell you could go into an abandoned building with some chalk, a mirror, incense, candles, a stereo, etc and you may have much better results.

You didn't have results because you don't know anything about evocation. Simple as that.

Well, like I said, I just acted like they both accepted my deals even though I didn't sense anything.

And I got some really creepy and freaky results. Like, almost impossible to be coincidences. A lot of shit happened, I got A LOT of money (relatively speaking to what I got before, so before it was between 50-150€, suddenly I had 1000€ spikes) and several rivals got kicked out or start to become serious problems.

What do you think about that? Is it possible that Bune was THERE and heard me, accepted the deal, even though I didn't sense anything? I'm very creeped out about the results that I asked for.

Have you mastered the basics of divination and astral sight? If so, you should be able to interpret the success of your pact and its results for yourself. If not, you may want to rethink Goetic evocation until you've developed your magical skills more. Personally I wouldn't feel safe making pacts with entities I couldn't reliably see, sense or otherwise communicate with.
