Re: Theme Break?
Like right now, this topic glows for me even though the last reply was mine.

Illusion is the first of the pleasures.
The bomb of entropic chaos.
If some assholes levels a twelve gauge your way, you drain him, skin him and bash in his skull. Self-preservation is vital part of humanity after all. My favorite part, in fact
My mind is telling me NOOO but my BODY, MY BODY is telling me YEAS

Re: Theme Break?
The purple 'glow' or flames is the icon for active topics, usually with recent posts.
The glow with silvery bits, is for topics with more than 14 posts, which counts as 'popular'.
I'm not sure how that corresponds tothe black/white theme, as I'm not familiar with that one yet.
A run through:
The icons are pentagram scrolls, with the following additions to denote the state of the post:
Flames : Unread posts
Stabbed with an athame : Sticky topic
Wax-sealed : Locked
Swirling vortex : Moved topic
Silvery web, flashing flames : popular/active topic with more than 14 posts
I know the site may still be a bit buggy, but those are the basics. [thumbup]
I'm just going to go play around with them now to check if they're working ok. I've played with post features too, to check the forms are working ok as well. A bit of colour is pleasant, lol.
Yep, working fine for me.
I will go check out the other theme too, but they should work there also. Best go check anyway.
Please do keep reporting issues, we'll fix as we find.

Re: Theme Break?
I'm using the black/white now and my post is off centre, it looks alright, but I'm going to try aligning button now.
Nope, still centre aligned.
I think the new theme may still have some problems the classic one dosen't.
The icons are working on both, though. [thumbup]

In the black and white theme, center aligned is default. Do you guys want it to be put on the left?Nahemah wrote:I'm using the black/white now and my post is off centre, it looks alright, but I'm going to try aligning button now.

Re: Theme Break?
Ah, that makes sense and I do think left might be easier to read for most of us.
I kinda like the centre alignment though, it makes sentences look quite poetic, but prolly best to change it. [thumbup]
I tested icons and posting features/ mod buttons in both themes and they're just fine.

Re: Theme Break?
I still cant tell the difference between an unread topic and a topic Ive posted in based on the icons in the occult classic theme.
Am I being picky?

Re: Theme Break?
No, of course you're not, lol. [greensmile]
Seriuosly, it's fine, we need to know about the bugs and problems you guys can or cannot see. [grin]
I have read all the active topics here, so yeh, part of the job n that, lol, but I'll go check for unread [ to me] in earlier posts, see if I can spot the difference, if there is one noticeable. [thumbup]
Back...
In the new theme, the difference is colour, it's brownish for unread posts and the read topics show a wee yellow star, but they are both tiny, so hard for me to see well.
I can't differentiate in the classic theme, though, there seems to be no visible difference in the unread and in the no new posts in thread icons.

Re: Theme Break?
Right now even though the avatar is on the left side, the page break between the sections is still on the left side. Either the avatar needs to go back to the right (even though I asked for it to be moved) or the page break has to be moved. Right now the spacing is off. It still looks like its missing something or my brain just isn't working.

Re: Theme Break?
Is there supposed to be a gray banner going through the top?
To be specific, where the navigation header is (Adonai, Elah, Elohim, along with navigation. The text continues on within the navigation itself, but the either side of that is displaying a gray background. I'm guessing that's not intentional, given that the rest of the page is filled with different signatures and it's displayed within the center of the header
