In two places at once

Post by KatrianaKitten »

I was laying in bed last night and I felt myself starting to drift... Away. I was still awake, laying in bed, but I could feel and see a school too. So I started writing everything down in case I forgot whenever I either fell asleep or woke up.
Normal looking school, white tile floors, lockers, classroom doors... But it was blurry. I remember it being really dark, empty, but I wasn't alone. Something... dark... was with me.
I eventually fell completely asleep, and things got really weird then. It's like I was having multiple dreams, all about different things, but it was all inside a school. (Example: Talking to some of my friends about something at my kitchen table, but it was in a classroom) At the same time, I was still outside in that dark hallway, not completely alone... That's when I somehow knew what that dark thing was, and this is gonna sound weird... It was like a minotaur and Cerberus had a baby together.
And still, while all of that was happening, I periodically woke up, still inside those dreams, but I was too tired and hurt too bad to move...

So, does anyone have any clue what might have been going on?

Consciousness is not restricted by time or space. You can be in multiple places at once, multiple times at once, and several other such things. One of my favorite exercises is to transmit my consciousness into something external (like a plant) and then expand from there to experience the entire environment (the garden or park where the plant is) simultaneously.

So, the first part sounds like you perhaps started to experience some form of mental travel or Sight, and the rest sounds like you drifted into an ordinary dream influenced by the initial experience.

I use a term i've seen elsewhere to describe this which is bilocation. It is pretty much exactly how Shinichi describes it.

For myself usually experience it when doing travelling work using sex magick and invocational possession - ill be shifting between my normal perspective of me in the rite surrounded and possessed by the entity, whilst at the same time usually seeing it from their perspective and my astral body or form being in their presence in their realm.

This is overlaid like two movies being played at the same time. As mentioned above sometimes this is like one frame of one, one frame of the other played very rapidly. At some point it becomes two simultaneously happening experiences which is quite mind/sanity stretching in its vividness.

Not to be pedantic, but technically speaking bilocation refers to not just the dividing of the consciousness into separate locations, but it's physical (or at least visible) manifestation in both locations :p

is like a block of wood

cut by cut it is honed to perfection"

Fair one, I will admit, when it comes to the technical terms I am not the best person to ask.

Im guessing it is a very similar if not the same process though, just with the other location instead of being with the entity, it being some place in the physical on Earth. I mean, you are visible to the entity and have a very real visible presence there for it to 'see' or sense.

I wouldn't know however as I havn't used this technique for that. Ive had no need to nor the curiosity to try. Have had a friend appear to another friend however, whilst they were asleep many miles away.
