Hey, One-Off here!
Hey, One-Off here!
I'm glad I was finally able to find an active forum that had a discussion of hermeticism on it.
I'm sure there are others, but I'm fine for now, if you know of any other forums that deal with magic and the transcendental that are active let me know.
Anyway, I'm here to meet someone on the path to enlightenment I can share experiences with. Someone or some people haha. From what I've seen forums like this go dead really fast, so I was thinking of getting to know a few of you and starting a private fb group or something where we can interact more regularly.
I'm training the IIH and I just cleared the first 5 minutes of observing thought. Is anyone else training in IIH? I know this isn't the only paradigm out there but this is where I'm going to be working from. I intend to strictly train this every day and would love to find someone who is serious about their training to go on this journey with!

Hello and welcome to the forum. [grin]
We've been running stong since 2009, so we're not disappearing any time soon, no need for you to worry on that. [thumbup]

Hi there, welcome to the forum. [thumbup]
Re: Hey, One-Off here!
Hello One-Off , I practice IIH as well. I am still at step one, but I am finishing it very soon. So I am always open to discussion. Additionally you may want to check out my topics. Most of them deals with questions from IIH. There are a few other people here who practice IIH. And there are some advanced practitioners who reached higher steps and they are very friendly and help a lot.
Welcome to the forums.

Re: Hey, One-Off here!
You guys are so cool. I'm saying this based off of looking at your avatars, and how people are responding to my synchronicity question.
Even though this is just an online forum I feel like I've found a place where I belong and I can be myself. I need to develop an offline circle for this. Any suggestions on how to do that?
I'm a neophyte who just got into IIH. I'm leery of meeting up with adepts because of fear of the unknown. Plus I don't want to get involved with Wiccas or voodo priests or anything like that who follow different paradigms. At least not on a personal level, at least until I've obtained a certain degree of competence with my wizard training.
People are people and I know that any niche attracts all types to it. If I get involved with someone I don't like and we have a falling out I'd rather not be attacked or cursed by something, and be helpless to defend myself.
Is that being paranoid?
@RockDemon
You're perfect! Exactly what I'm looking for. I also got a PM from findingtruth who's doing IIH and is interested in linking up as well.
I plan on coming to the forum everyday, but we should definitely link up outside of this public forum in a more personal group. You know seeing as this training lasts years. I don't like using fb that much we could communicate via email or text or something. Shoot me a pm and we'll come up with a plan together.

Yes this is a great place. Especially if you are an introverted person like me you will notice that this a cozy place, not so crowded where all of the members know each other in some way.one-off wrote:Even though this is just an online forum I feel like I've found a place where I belong and I can be myself.
It depends on where you live, the country, city, social conditions, circles. Sometimes it is very hard.one-off wrote:I need to develop an offline circle for this. Any suggestions on how to do that?
Sure I'll send you a pm right after this message.one-off wrote:Shoot me a pm and we'll come up with a plan together.
