Not trying to poke holes, but this is one of the latest myths in the pantheon, and rewrites a lot of what existed before the Osirian cult became popular.

Just saying; While the story has its merits and occult references, I wouldn't base this as an actual account of these Gods. The lore is just too convoluted.

Also, as a note, Osiris used to be a negative entity that would attack Ra during his nightly passage through the Duat. He was only promoted to Godhood when the common-man started feeling left out of religious ceremonies, as they had no access to the temples of Ra.

Some stuff to think about.

Thanks for relinking this. I did read it once in the past, but it's only recently I've been able to comprehend the pantheon associations with what was written there.
