Confusion With Tarot Court Card Personality

Post by Napoli »

Is it possible that a person whose sun sign belongs to the fire element and her natal chart contains a lot of earth element be a Queen of Cups? I am talking about myself. I have taken a few test regarding the matter that uses both Myer-Briggs personality test as a basis or otherwise. In the past I used to get Knight of Wands. Recently, I am getting Queen of Cups. When I do think about it I feel that I have the personality of both the Queen of Cups and Queen of Wands, depending on my mood. I also know about another individual who is Cancer but his tarot court card is always Knight of Pentacles. Can anyone please explain to me how this works and how should I choose what I am?
In my sword I trust.

As a Therapist and a Spiritual Advisor I can say that I don't share that thought about court cards being representative of the solar sign of a person. Actually I think that they reflect more their state in the moment or how they apear to the world (astrologicaly Ascendant if we were to relate it to a "sign" of a natal chart). When you do reading and the court apears representing someone you think of how it's going to be recognized that person.

That you used to be Knight of Wands and now you're Queen of Cups means that your emotional or psychological state has changed. Even if a Queen of Cups might be a "good" card, therapeutically speaking, it's a woman with problems to speak out and tends to absorb and "swallow" her emotions, to shut the up and keep them inside, and that mostly lead to depresion, stress, psychosomatic illness, etc etc.

I would recomend you used the Tarot to look for a way to turn into the Queen of Wands, she's more straight forward and empowered woman, that doesn't go around bothering people with her things but she doesn't shut up when she needs to say something.

Look through Tarot what's that taking you to this state. Water of Water is too much Water hehehehe And you don't "choose" waht you are, you are what you are. But you can change somethings to make it better for yourself

I was thinking about the same question recently as well. What I came up with is similar to what Willow says. All of the court cards are parts of us to some extent. One card may be more primal another one less depending on the moment and circumstances and some may be fixed. In my chart the earth and water dominate, but I am more like the Prince of Swords (not a good card :( :D ).

Sometimes I get the Queen of Swords. As for the Queen of Wands, she is my least favourite after the former. This is because she tends to be a drama queen and I don't like to be a diva :D . Queen of Cups can sometimes be used as a doormat. Queen of Pentacles seems good to me- down-to-earth, compassionate and practical.

I am pretty sure the Queen of Pentacles has her own weak spots as well, however if you like her and she's your ideal that is great, then try to be more like her. Develop her characteristics. And there are many different ways to do that. For instance the autosuggestions from IIH.
