In my experience, you need at least two kinds of work to be really succesful.

1.Cleansing/banishing
2.Attracting

And maybe a third, protecting/shielding.

If you have bad luck in your financial life it might be that you need to cleanse, to banish bad luck, bad spirits, etc. Then, once you took the bad, you need to refill the "space" with the good. So you do spells to attract money, work, a job, etc. And then you protect yourself or shield your magics so the bad things cannot comeback to spoil you new energies.

I have seen very few people get really good results by just doing money spells. Cleansing first has always been very asuring of success.
