Re: Black Cat Music Thread Reloaded
...So the Prince endured; the seasons came and went In the absence of his one true love for this lifetime. Often he would conduct Magic Rituals in her memory, as this brought her Spirit close to him, and he could feel her presence. In days past when they were as one. He would also perform Rituals, and the Princess was quite fond of this. Which he never quite fully understood. Her being so very intelligent and quite well read. Him being a beginner practitioner. He could only surmise that the knowledge he had acquired through contemplation, and the uniqueness of his practice among other more mundane things was what she fancied. He always knew she was privy to his workings, but kept quiet about such things as he did enjoy her presence...

Re: Black Cat Music Thread Reloaded
The Princess realised something about the Prince that was special and beyond the mundane jabberings of the masses.
He did not fully realise her abilities and magical powers or the love she found in her heart. There is nothing more learned than Silence for in that Silence she is always near to him, sometimes at his very shoulder. And as the dark clouds rolled away to reveal that bright silent Moon the Prince knew she was calling him.To the West he saw Venus,a shimmering gem as though a constant companion.Ever faithful, ever mystical.

Woe if I reveal,Woe if I do not reveal...

It doesn't matter...
That Norma Winstone image matches your star really well. It's beautiful!

Re: Black Cat Music Thread Reloaded
Sometimes I feel silly about some of the things I post in these Occult Forums. Other times I wonder if there is any point, or is this really something I enjoy doing? And if not than why do I do it? Some sort of compulsion maybe? I suppose the answer is dynamic and multifaceted. Most things aren't simple and derive their energy from numerous sources, yet some things are fairly simple which brings me here to this music thread. Sometimes easy is good. Plus I just had to upgrade my entire computer system and invested in better PC Speakers since I was listening to music more on the computer lately, as opposed to my home audio system. The speakers are the Bose Companion 2 speakers, which aren't too shabby as far as PC speakers go.
Anyway, sometimes I enjoy posting in the morning while I have coffee. I don't have the coffee yet. I need to do a coffee run, but what I do have(which also brings me here)is a mental database of music that contains many breakup songs. So now I have an opportunity to make use of some of these, and there are many...
(I won't be overly technical and verify the lyrics so there is margin for error here)

This one is a bit overly dramatic with the "crying" and all, but it's a decent song. I do like the musical arrangement and feel which is the main reason for posting it.
Without checking I'm pretty sure I've posted this one here already, but this is a new section.

How appropriate. A song titled "The Breakup Song".

Re: Black Cat Music Thread Reloaded
A little "Poison" is also good for ending a relationship. Even if it is an online one. Those count too, although the poison in that case would be a metaphorical one, most likely.

A breakup song for those who can't quite make up their mind, or something along those lines.

A breakup song by Glen Campbell. That I would presume is damn near as old as I am.

Re: Black Cat Music Thread Reloaded
I talked about this on another Occult forum, but anyways the Bose Companion 2 Speakers that I've been listening to for nearly the last two weeks. I finally returned, as I apparently could not tolerate the internal processing of the music any longer. Which means basically the Engineers at Bose took it upon themselves to create better music by altering its sound, e.g. to create an expanded presence, internal equalizer settings, et cetera. Anyways, ultimately and in the end the music suffers.
I will probably do a review on the three speaker configurations I tested. Ranging in price from 20 dollars to 180 dollars. The current speaker setup I am using is a Klipsch ProMedia 2.1 BT. These appear to be the best so far pertinent to power, and precise musical articulation. I have lost much sleep over this now. I need more than coffee at this point, but it looks like a celebration of "this is the best I can do" and it's pretty damn good!
Okay another breakup song by the Swedish pop stars from the 70s and 80s

Okay. The breakup songs have served their purpose. That wasn't as easy as I thought it would be. Now I return to my regularly scheduled programming.
A song by Maureen McGovern to wrap things up for this section.
