Question Regarding the Angelic Silence Practice
Question Regarding the Angelic Silence Practice
If an occult practitioner decides to work with the 'teaching angels' through the practice of Angelic Silence, do they deliberately make one go through adverse circumstances, so that the practitioner can "learn" and "grow"?

Re: Question Regarding the Angelic Silence Practice
There are many different systems of Angelic magick and pantheons out there......I am not familiar with these terms "teaching angels" or "Angelic Silence".....if you could specify that would be optimal. Differing beings work in different ways.
In general, as a rule of thumb.....the path is challenging....how challenging depends on your direction and past.....the more you train...the more likely old energetic fossils can be revealed.....that need to be sifted through.....and as you rise in authority and skill....there will be a definite "tempering process"....as with all things.

Re: Question Regarding the Angelic Silence Practice
Can't say I'm very familiar with any of the angelic teaching, or specifically with "Angelic Silence", but in the words of one Watcher I used to know..
When one day years ago I got really tired of it all and forced them to come forth and asked: "Why every little thing had to be so damn hard?",
She just shrugged and said: "Well.. If there's no rain, there's no grain.."
I realized probably they are simply fully focused on getting results from their "crops" and your feelings and bruises, or how much they make you bleed, even if the process ends you - all that is of minor concern, usually no concern at all.
She was pretty nice "girl" btw, on her "days off" at least.

Re: Question Regarding the Angelic Silence Practice
The Angelic Silence practice is part of the Pauline Arts where one works with the teaching angels, especially one's birth angels from among them, in order to learn and evolve. The teaching angels include- Michael, Uriel, Raphael, Gabriel, Samael, Anael, Sachiel and Cassiel. There are more, but beginners are expected to work with the ones in the given list. On the angel's day of the week one recites the angel's corresponding God names, in order to attune the mind to the frequency of the angel. This is done mentally.
My gut instincts have been telling me the same. I just don't know if I am up for the challenge.

Re: Question Regarding the Angelic Silence Practice
That sounds like a cool practice....but like with all practices, where your inviting the influence of other Beings....it can become a bit dicey....especially if your not sure which direction your turning the wheel. As a result, its definitely important for you to take the primary Leadership role in your spiritual and magickal pursuits and have your spirit allies there as advisors and guides.Napoli wrote: ↑Thu Aug 10, 2023 6:20 amThe Angelic Silence practice is part of the Pauline Arts where one works with the teaching angels, especially one's birth angels from among them, in order to learn and evolve. So from a Leadership perspective....its important to clarify your intentions/goals and converse with said spirit allies to divine a proper strategy to achieve said goals. Do divination to oversee the path and have foresight on what the biggest speed-bumps (challenges, pain, sacrifice, risk...etc) are gonna be and use that knowledge for further planing.
When conversing with spirit allies and doing divination....asking accurate questions is important. If there is a particular Angel among that group which you have a strong relationship, you may want to sit down and probe for answers. Some example of questions:
-What kind of training would be best for me at this time?
-Are you gonna push me too hard in training?
-Will there be intense difficulties in this training?
-What advice can you give me for the challenges ahead?
-Why am I feeling nervous about this work?
-Is there a particular Angel whom has useful teachings for me during this phase of my life?
-How can I prepare myself for this path?
-What timeframe is likely needed to achieve said goals?
Naturally, the questions you'd ask would vary depending on your goals. You used the terms "learn" and "grow" a bit nebulously.....yet there are so many areas of training to explore.....having an open source dialogue with allies is key, in order to best coordinate your path.
Re: Question Regarding the Angelic Silence Practice
Thank you for the advice. I used those terms because performing the ritual affects our lives in many ways. The angels are supposed to provide us with opportunities, guide us, influence our life's experiences in various ways, make us better occult practitioners, help us become less affected by planetary transits, and many more.WildWolf wrote: ↑Thu Aug 10, 2023 9:31 amThat sounds like a cool practice....but like with all practices, where your inviting the influence of other Beings....it can become a bit dicey....especially if your not sure which direction your turning the wheel. Until now, I have only experienced one event related to a problem I am facing. I believe it was to guide me. However, there is a nagging feeling in the back of my mind that I am also experiencing certain adverse circumstances which I am not ready to face. I stopped performing this ritual some time ago. I posted here to know your experiences and realised that it will be a very challenging path.

Re: Question Regarding the Angelic Silence Practice
If you feel there is trouble on the horizon...definitely approach things strategically.
There's been many times in my training, where there was trouble....yet after asking advice on how to "smooth" out said issues....I was able to minimize them. Unfortunately, there were times where nothing could be done.....and I needed to ride head first into the "storm".....though those situations are a minority. More often than not.....preventative actions can be taken.

My own practice is to identify each incoming entity by experiment.
