Is this the right community for me?

I'm trying to find a community for people that are serious about pioneering the unknown and welcomes free thinking and crazy hypotheses that could lead to grand discoveries in the future.
I tried to join a few forums for Taoists and people whom practice internal alchemy, only to be met with people that practices Qigong, Tai Chi, etc. for basic psychological therapy and better health.
For those people, breathing techniques and silencing their mind is "spiritual" and they spends decades of their life following their "masters" teaching.
Is this forum different? Do people here seek to comprehend the unknown?

The forum itself, is pretty free spirited and open source.

Qigong, Tai Chi and Breath-work are very powerful methods......but your are correct....health and wellness is just the beginning....many of these systems are designed for attaining Gnosis. Though, that path is challenging and definitely not for everyone.

So as long as it's at least somewhat within the topic of forum under which you post, nobody will be nitpicking it too much.

I agree with WildWolf when it comes to Tai Chi.
But of course I'm very excited to see what your experiences will tell us. ^^

And this is a very open forum. I'm new here too and I really like it. Of course you have to find out for yourself whether it is the right community for you or not.
