I just wanted to say goodbye to everyone here, I'm afraid I backed myself into a corner I can't escape. Earlier today, or yesterday, I think? A user named Thermonuclear_Soul wrote an introduction in the "Welcome" folder. I was so delighted as I read his first few posts! Finally someone who understood more than basic theory, I wanted to discuss and finally learn on issues of occult knowledge in an unbiased and intelligent enviroment. As we were there in that thread, the WELCOME folder of all places, the guy gets flamed. I wrote that I would rather leave OF than see the flame remain in the thread. And although many of responding rebuttals by Thermonuclear against other flamers were left intact, this first stone was not deleted. (even though it was vehemently against policy)

And so by your own hand, and my own unbreakable word, I must withdraw. I say goodbye here because it was the only folder I considered free of trolls and nescient omwallas. Although I enjoyed OF while it lasted!

Thanks for the open minds, it allowed me, for the first time a couple of weeks ago, to decide once and for all I was going to share everything with you guys, and my first project was detailing the map of hell/shadow tree, because so many people seemed to be wondering about it. I didn't get one flame, I was so proud of you all, and enjoying myself so (though of course I couldn't expect less than perfect courtesy from the CM folder

Lady, I know I havent been here long. I really enjoyed your posts and I am very sad to see you go, I wish youd reconsider. But it is ultimately your own choice, there are some people here who I am sure would miss you terribly though who wernt at fault for any of this, keep in touch with them. I hope that whatever has you rigtheously inflamed is cleared up and that you stay. You realise you will have to lurk because how else will you be able to see? The reason I found myself coming back time after time was because there are like minded people here, people I could learn from. Im always delighted to see your posts especially your experiments with the Goetia and can seriously say i've learned so pretty heavy shit.

I see why he was banned but don't understand why everyone else who did the same aren't banned as well. That was some serious flaming from everyone. It is very tempting for me to leave too. I actually flamed someone one time since I have been on OF. I told someone that their attitude towards someone else was bullshit. I have watched your posts in the CM forum and have enjoyed all of them. I have found you to be intelligent, daring, and knowledgable and your loss is a loss for all of us.

The CM forum was NOT the cause of your "controlled" decision but the CM Forum is being punished. I do not understand...but I will respect your decision.

I didn't get a chance to interact with Thermonuclear_Soul, so I don't really know what his level of knowledge is or isn't but in general, words are treacherous things. One who is actually as adept as you seem to think he was would almost certainly be able to negotiate them better, ignorance or no ignorance. I don't want you to go...but leaving on the assumption that T_S was necessarily so much ahead of the rest of us may be a hasty assessment. I am sorry things erupted into flames before anyone really had a chance to find out... It DOES take two to tangle though...

You will certainly be missed Lady_H. Perhaps you will return at some later point in time if you decide your work here wasn't really quite finished yet. This is, afterall, more important than circumstantial skirmishes along the way...

So it's an open door Lady...hope to see you around again at some point...
