The purpose of this thread relate's to the work's of Dr.Dee, Sir Edward Kelley and Thomas Perk's and some various other's of the mid 1600's as they pop up here and there!
The viscious destruction laid uponDr.Dee's house at Mort lake robbed Dr.Dee of some of his research MS's, note's and related material's. All through history many peaple's book's have been destroyed by other's or even by those who penned them for some odd ball reason or another. I firmly believe some, like Dr.Dee found and devised other method's to hide such work in which they were involved in. Most who study Dr.Dee and his finding's know well how alot of his material was found after the torching, in foot locker hidden bottom's, letter's to other peaple of prestigious acclaim, etc. includeing the Pope, Bishop's and of course Queen Elizabeth and King Jame's. Think about it, peaple like Dr.Dee, Nostradamus or Crowley were far from dumb individual's. they were pretty dam smart and clever and had in some way devised a mean's to hide and protect their work's. I am seeking those piece's. . .
Alot of peaple out there are wondering about missing piece's to the puzzle's Dr.Dee left behind in his wake of calling on Enochian and crromonial magic. These puzzle piece's are that which I strive to dig up and this post here is where I and other's who do the same can share such tid-bit's and get a bigger perspective on such abve matter's. . ./. . .
I have been going through translated and un-translated piece's of Dr.Dee's writeing's in a few museum's. Sloane MS 2599,(the number's 49X49?), 3188, 3189, 7191, NOTE: SLOANE 3188 Fol.80 and read the account of the writeig dated April/6Th./1583
- and some other letter's some thought unimportant! I have stumbled onto various tid-bit's which I am in he course of translateing from private owner's and pphotograph's of Dr.Dee's, Kelley's and Perk's note's.One private collection is that of the "Cpttonian Collection", which later became known as the- "Yorke Collection". The "Cottonian Collection" contained alo of Dr.Dee's & Sir Edward Kelley's work's such as "Liber Logaeth". a.k.a. "Liber Mystorium"-Sextus et Santus, etc. This collection was obtained by the John Somer's and was know also as the "Lord Collection". MS 7191 which there is written "Gabriel Harvey, a friend of Spencer",?, HMMMM???
Jas T. Windram wrote many correspondence's to Gerald J. Yorke who was answering and asking on behalf of Uncle Al, (Aliester Crowley) and these are dated from 9/19/1928 to about 10/31192 about various piece's of work's onthe "Liber Logaeth", "Yhe Voynich MS" and some other's. Which were in fact onl type script's and transcript's of Dr.Dee's work's which also hidden quite in plain view also handwritten work's in Dr.Dee's hand alot of Encohian writeing's,(So yes, Uncle All, again my dear Brother, where for art thou hand written note's of the said material's, Hmmmmmmmm?-even deeper yet is'nt it). One of the Enochian MS was sold at Sotheby's in 1997,(SOURCE: Warburg Institute-Yorke Collection).
I meet in November whith a man who caim's to be in possession of some very rare item's and I do tell you it will be interesting as this man is selling off some rather rare book's and for a list of such item's PM and I will e-mail you the list a.s.a.p., such item's are from B.O.T.A.. the work's of Jacob Behmen, Jacob Boehme, Trajano Bocalini,(if you read Waite's "the brotherhood of the Rosy cross",Pg.122-127. then you know who this man is,this man's book's do exist and I have held quite a few),John Pordage, and other area's of great interest's. I asure you the price's are fair and the book's are rare, if not scarce! I was to meet this man last November but could not due to work and will dephinately meet him this November!
Also not that The Quenn, Elizabeth siezed over 4,000+ book's and 700+ choice MS's of Dr.Dee's and his crystal he used to invoke spirit's. Dont bother contacting Sotheby's Auction place unless you have serious cash for a bribe or know someone as they will not devulge any info on the buyer of the above collection's.
