Colin Wilson describes in his book The Philospohers Stone how he stimulates the pineal gland with electricity inserting a tiny metallic chip in the gland... this is a book of fiction/fact but since I am interested in the pineal glands properties I was wondering if anyone here has stimulated their pineal gland with an exterior source apart from the sun?

Just to add I have decided to enroll in a University, if I can get in, to further my studies on the pineal gland and the brain in order to build some sort of machine... there is already one in existence, but from what I understand it cant be bought in your local hardware store!

Actually just saw something on faster than light and time travel on the science channel.
