Ok, I was laying down doing a meditation technique. Simply just laying completly still and relaxed and counting every breath in as 1 and every breath out as 2.

so like 1-2-1-2-1-2-1-2-1,etc

I drifted off and felt my right leg left up as if weightless or floating. I then took my right arm up and such. the oddest thing happened next. my eyes for some reason stayed closed (i dont know if i was in a trance) but my eyes was still closed, my right eye seemed openned a slight bit to just see faint light.

lol get this, my entire body swing's around to where the position of my bed would automatically put half of it(my body) over the edge. but i didnt fall, i maintained my position i had before dozing off or trancing off.

(quick question: how do you know if you are in a trance ?)

So then i dont know if i swing back or just snapped into a dream, but the next thing i knew i was dreaming woke up and didnt have any "buzzing" sensation so i knew that i didnt project.

any suggestions, cuz im still sluggish (think it's a cold, or bordem thats got me sleepy today) and im bout to attempt it agian.

You can find similar answers below. Though...you might want to start a new thread specifically about TRANCE. It is mentioned very few times throughout this board and as such there is not a lot of overall discussion on it. However, I do not think you were in a 'trance' so to speak...though, you were likely in a trancelike state often assiciated with AP or rather pre-AP phenominon.


I don't mean to be a pest but this board seems to be getting way cluttered with similar questions about such a thing. Could you look through the archives and find a buried thread that is similar and bump it up with your new question?
