Spending time...

Spending time in the dark is THE most important thing you can do to increase your visual awareness...especially if in your own home turning on the light has become a thing of the past for me, even if you stumble and trip in the first place eventually you'll build an accurate map of the entire space WITHIN YOUR MIND...woooooooo, do do do do do....

Just wait until someone sneaks into your house and rearranges your furniture in the middle of the night. You'll be royally fucked and extreme hilarity will commence.

I am not sure that i follow you. By spending time in the dark you would be cutting off Visual perception. That would in effect activate your other senses like smell and touch as well as intuition.

I agree thought that it could be used to improve visualisation, but only if you blinded folded yourself, and minimised your other sensory input and tried to walk about your house.

I would rather meditate on a mandala :)

There is something in what you say, people who become blind or deaf manage to make mind maps and they also compensated by their other senses becoming more developed; whether they just notice the other sensations more or the actual sense itself is exercized more and so develops I am not sure though.

I walk around here a lot in semi-darkness and only put lights on if necessary for other people's safety. It helps with thinking indeed as there seem to be less distractions.
