Yes, it is posible to create a location of your own in the astral. I have done it too at some point. However, I think others also have the ability to go there after you have created this location, unless of course you don't want them there and build up some sort of protection.

many have gone their entire lives to astral project to no avail . . . its one of those things that may come easily to some, and take a lifetime or two for others . . . . like was stated before: hardwork, AND dedication . . im not sure of any "tried and true" methods for helping get there but all i can tell you is what my music teacher always told me"practice makes permanent, not perfect"

The biggest key IMHO is to learn to deeply relax while keeping the mind alert. Once the body is totally asleep, the mind is freed of many limitations and any number of methods can be used to project. A simple one is to imagine yourself walking around a familiar location recalling sensations in all five senses as vividly as possible. Using self-hypnosis to attain deep relaxation is probably the quickest and most effective method, with the added benefit of mental clarity and focus. Regular practice (short periods of time every day are better than long sessions done infrequently or irregularly) should reap great dividends. Best of luck!

Concerning a liquid that can be used to induce astral travel.
I do know of a potion that can induce astral travel. Here follows instructions for the mixture.
You will need the following.
Between 5 and 10 psychoactive mushrooms of your choice.
1 gallon jar, washed and cleaned.
1 Astral sigil, engraved onto the gallon jar.
5 cups of alcohalic beverage of your choice.
1 Fruit flavoring of your choice.
Engrave sigil onto jar.
Wash and dry the mushrooms.
Mince mushrooms.
Place mushrooms in jar.
Mince fruit and place in jar.
Pour cups of alchohalic beverage into jar.
Stir mixture 44 times. [It must be 44 times. The number is significant.]
Place mixture in refridgerator or other storage unit.
Let ferment for 3 days. [It must be exactly three days. Down to the hour if possible.]
Drink at leisure.
Caution: Mixture is usually quite strong.
A note: The astral sigil may be of your own chosing, however I have discovered that sigils composed of spiraloid shapes in general tend to work better. Triangular sigils would work close to the spirals level, but not as powerful.

Well I meant for the mixture to be used as a ritual component. Not just on its own. If you used it on its own it would probably just inebriate you.

Well, regardless of "why" you're going to use it...its going to do more than inebriate you....but whatever...to each their own...I think that chemical assisted astral contact kind of defeats the point of AP...but thats me....

While I can't agree that it would 'fry your brains', I will say this much, Strychnine. It isn't meant for those who are just learning about AP. Basically its meant for High Priests and the like exclusively. I waited till I had learned how to consciously control my astral form before I ever even thought about messing around with it.

I will endeavor to explain in as down to earth terms as possible how it might be possible to do this.
The first thing you need to do is get any mundane needs and errands out of the way. This spell, as it were, takes quite a long period of earthly time, somewhere between 6 and 16 hours.
The second thing you need to do is have a backup plan just in case you need to suddenly stop.
Assistants are not necessary but would be preferable. Just in case.
The next thing to do is prepare your consciousness for it. Relax, don't focus on making your astral form any specific shape. Let it stay in the form of primal energy, rather than a recognizibly alive form.
Enter the astral plane. Make sure beforehand that you are in an area that cannot be suddenly disturbed. A sudden kinetic disturbance on earth could cause serious harm to your astral form.
Spread your fully charged astral body as vast as you possibly can, consciously allowing each frequency that composes it to freely move.
Caution: Allowing your astral form to do this makes it substantially more difficult to maintain a coherent intelligence.
Once this is done, create from these frequencies of energy solid forms. Start simply and work towards complexity. I would advise starting with things that are familiar to you. I started with earthen materials and chemical liquids.
When enough of an environment is stable to allow life forms to exist for more than just brief periods of time, allow evolution to take its natural course, calling back your energy into yourself.
Exit the astral plane.
Tell your assistants what you wish for them to do, verbally guiding them to the area you have just created.
Once all this is finished, stay out of the astral plane for a few months, allowing your astral form to recharge itself and make any necessary evolutions that it needs to make after going through this event.
Return to the area you have created frequently, to make sure it is still stable and functional.

before you get in bed do the same see yourself in bed looking at your physical body...' you also need to dislocate emotion....this usually happens once you get the knack of thinking you are the astral...so get in bed and lift each leg slowly like you are walking, then stop and relax...project yourself the image of you lay in bed from where you stood...if it happens it happens....you might also want to put something somewhere else in the flat...say starve for a day or go without a cig if you smoke, and see how fast the astral flies for that fix...lol

the astral is everywhere it emits from the walls...like a duplicate etheric image of the solid walls it is this reality you want to project to...the other worlds are as real as this - I have been stood in a forest and the air and earth were so lucid and there was a Chinese man on a bridge pointing to a train below...he would not let me pass the bridge....the thing is the more advanced spiritually and occult wise one becomes the more we seem to leave this world behind and life takes on a very primitive meaning....it can be very lonely that way.
