Astral Vortex?
I awoke this morning in a state of total sleep paralysis, which happens to me several times per months. In this state, I am able to separate from my body. I'm becoming more and more brave, and am gaining more control of movement while outside of the body. Though, I haven't yet managed to leave my bedroom, in my mind, progress is being made.

Anyway, when it happened this morning, I saw something that looked like a vortex, for lack of a better term, in front of the window. It was a moving spiral, but had no apparent color or substance. Imagine a fish coming to the surface of a very still body of water. The fish disturbs the surface and a spinning spiral is created. That's what it looked like. It was as though the fabric of reality was being bent. Matter, including the window, was twisting. It's difficult to describe.

I have windows 98. If I go to start, settings, active desktop, customize my desktop, and screensavers, I can find a screen saver called Science. The "vortex" looked somewhat like this screen saver. It's a warping, clear, sphere that crosses the screen and warps whatever is on the screen. This is the only thing I can think of to compare it to.

This thing frightened me and I went back to my body as soon as I could. My fear is a huge obstacle to acheiving astral travel. Has anyone else experienced something like this?

no I haven't but you peaked my curiousety.

If you are able to make a servitor make one and send it to expore the vortex for you.
(kinde like a probe) if ya figure out what it is plz do share it.

wow...it's already begining....how sad i had thought it wasn't gonna start for anotehr month or so, oh well, people say hi to world war 3, its gonna begin VERY VERY VERY soon. well, i'm off to buy mre's to last me untill 2024 of march 27th. well....yhea....cya..

btw the VORTEX as you put it is just a sign, many astral projection folks will be seeing it soon and then the next sign is gonna appear (watch the news for then few weeks and you'll clearly see it) and the next sign after that is the movement or the forces. next is the declarition of war, then next will be the revealation of a new war weapon, next is the final country that enters war, then next is when the governments fall (war keeps going on for a while) then next is when a NEW goverment is formed (a government that basicly controls the whole planet) then the next one is commercial space flying (docks have been made during war for righ refugee's) next is the first human on mars and then the next one is the fully fuctional moon station and then next is when scientist find out of a huge ass rock heading our way (about 100 times bigger then earth.) next is the preporation to take it out, next is when they fail and the last one is when earth is distroyed. basicly this is what i saw in my premonitions. (so far, they have been 100% accurate to every single detail, as in lighting, smell, pain, exhuastion, fear, pressure, etc.) yep, thats is how it is gonna happen if my premonitions remain 100% accurate.

I certainly don't need an "astral vortex" to tell me that. I already predicted WWIII four years ago while listening to Bush's inauguration.

Really, to take someone's vision of a vortex on the astral and distort the meaning to being a sign of WW3...how very reiminscent of Oazaki...but if you truely believe it to be a sign of the impending doom, then, I can't knock it...but every single 'prediction' of yours can be easily predicted through logic...its an incredibly logical sequence to go through, in fact...works just like any sci-fi world, or anime world...WW3 is inevitable, new weapons always pop out durring times of war, a new world order will eventually be established to replace the weak UN, with the progression of science(comercial space flight possible now) it is inevitable that we are going to be placing more objects in orbit(the perfect place for refugee shelters durring war,) eventually we will make it to living on the moon and living on mars....and sooner or later, Skynet is going to take control. I think we've all been 'predicting' that for some time...

...In my humble opinion, though I'm no expert in the field and wish I could progress a lot farther along in it than I am, I would suggest that perhaps the vortex is your minds interpretation of a gateway into a particular astral realm...kind of like a goal, "when you can get here, then you're ready." Though I wouldn't suggest just jumping in head first...

Thats strange, although I never have been astral I once created a vortex with my crystals arranged in a certain way.

It was an early attempt of mine at crystal assisted shielding, which didn't work then as I intended it to, but it was a strange effect nevertheless. I never saw the same thing again as I now always put up "clean" shields that don't cause such distortions of space-time. You appear to get distortion fields from overloaded shields though (do you use this technique in a directed way to create psi balls?). I suspect some kind of space-time warping effect is responsible, perhaps someone elses shield, an energy bubble of some kind, not sure wether I would connect it with being an omen of any kind, could be someone elses experiments gone wrong that all.

By "see" I mean with my third eye (I use a clear quartz crystal to open it - it works nicely and easy to close again - I just remove the crystal!).

...I'm picturing a room, a safe haven, a personal real with a window to the outside world...the room is a place to experiment, to learn the basics...and when the time comes, the individual will be able to open the window...and go through the vortex, to a larger realm....then again...if one can move to a new location merely by thinking it, the vortex would seem superfluous...wormholes...wheee...too much Stargate for me....

yes i saw this vortex, then it followed with every milla secound o[F] my futur[E] life, felt everything experianced everything etc. (and lemme tell ya, going through school again isn't fun.....yhea yu get liek that when you see yur whole life millasecound by millasecound) can't say i know EVERYTHING that is goign to happen, i decided to only take notes of the important stuff. btw next year is gonna be on hellava bad weather for the sea-ferring men. why? cuz it'll be the WORST hurrican season that has been ever recorded/witnessed. i think the news man said it was a 300-350 mph winds with 100+ ft high waves and such. anyway watch for it next year.

One would think that if astral vortexes were a sign of a drastic change, the cataclysm, apocalypse, armageddon, whatever End Scenareo you want to choose....one would think that the people who were more in tune with the astral realm, the relative "Sages" of astral travel, would notice the signs that something was going on, and something was getting ready to change...one would assume that the Sages would notice the signs far before someone who seems to be just stepping into the realm of the astral....which leaves the logical conclusion, that chances are, the vortex is a personal phenomenon....

....as for the Hurricane with F5 tornado wind-speeds....(a hurricane with double the normal wind-speeds of the strongest hurricanes ever recorded...) I'll wait for that to happen...I'll wait for the Barometric pressure to drop near 800 millibars....
