The mount of Apollo is on the palm, situated right below the ring finger. Perhaps you see more than one mount there because another mount is inclined towards that direction--such as the mount of Saturn.

A simple way is to check where the mounts of Mercury and Saturn are situated. If people place their palm out naturally, sometimes one finger or more can be curved a bit on an angle, thus the mounts wouldn't necessarily be straight.

Since we are talking palmistry, any good sites (that are not overtly fraudulant) that one would reccomend to a begginer? I've searched google but can't escape the silly psychic for hire crap. Im looking for history, source references and ofcourse meanings and practical application. Thank you.

I would call palm reading a form of divination.

Mysticism would be more like chanting while in a trance and receiving a vision.
