Ancient wisdom in a modern world sometimes makes me feel a bit out of place because I see things a little differently. Do you

recognise a divine spark in everyone or do your see people who haven't become illuminated as passive beings not human beings or

are you indifferent?

I'm not a member of the Roseicrucian Order of Amorc but they use the idea of Illumination, dark night of the soul and golden

dawn method to become enlightened, has anybody else used this method.

Kind regards Ashley.

Could you explain how you see it?

Yep everybody has that divine spark. Indian yogis call those that not are working to liberate themself for a pashu(animal). Not as a word to judge or place them self higher, but if they do nothing to liberate them self, they will stay at the animal level. Yes most people believe they have a divine spark but they think a religion has the answer to that. That will not awake and move the divine spark. Beliefe is fine but without action there is nothing. A religion like christianity sees that as evil and wrong. The whole religion start with a human couple follow their own will and eat the forbidden fruit from the tree of knowledge. Aetheists believe something like a divine spark is nothing but bogus and that all mythologies are nothing but fairytales.

Its not a method to become enlightened, but a way to explain the process one goes through. Look at schamanistic societies where the new beginner has to go through a rite where his up till now limited self has to die. Only by dying can the student tread the path to become a schaman. Quite similar. Different times, places and beliefs, different methods.

I think everyone has that Divine spark. I do not think we are all matter but a merging of flesh and Spirit. I however think animals have this to. I think animals have souls. I do not think one can spend allot of time with animals and not realize that they have souls just like human beings do. I think that all religions activity will strengthen that Divine spark, and there is allot of Spirituality in Christianity. For some pepole that path is exactly what they need to awaken their Spiritual side. However I do not think that one path is right for everyone.
