I'm having a crisis. I've been studying paganism for a LONG time and have adopted many of the beliefs already. I have always been attracted to the Norse Pantheon and Asatru, but kind of fell away from it. Wicca has been my thing for a long while. Love it. I have come into alot of money and can actually afford an altar and tools, etc... I've already been practicing meditation, visualization, grounding, etc... My crisis is, now that the reality is here, I feel confused about my patron God and Goddess. I've looked and studied and, I just need some kind of advice on how to get some real specific ideas about figuring this out. Any ideas?
Thanks,
RSG

Re: Wiccan Crisis!
I sem to remember recommending some books for you in another thread? I 'll check, but I think they were by the Farrars: Witches God/Witches Goddess.
Find out about the Deities, basically,do the legwork. [well, eye work, really, lol]
Look at how Wicca percieves Deity, generally.
In reading and learning about specific Gods/Goddesses,you might find ones which appeal.
In those books there are Rituals for invoking certain Deities that the Alexandrian Coven the Farrars founded work with.It might help you to check them out.

Freyja is a Norse goddess who is the goddess of witchcraft. Freyr is her brother and the god of fertility. You could use them. If not just keep reading about pantheons until someone jumps out at you.
