Hello,
I am a very fresh beginner into the world of occult. I been reading some basic books about a variety of different subjects and came across the book the Modern Magick. Since I picked it up I have been doing my best to study it. One question that I do have is when doing a spread or working with the Tarot cards when you flip them over do you just take it and flip it from the side or you do it from the bottom and flip the whole card over. The reason for this question is that if a card is in an original position on top of my deck and i just flip it from the side it will stay the way it was when it was on top of the deck. But if you take it from the bottom and flip it that way, then it will be in a reverse position than when it was on the top of the deck? I know this is a very specific and some people might call it OCD question but I want to learn to the best of my abilities from the beginning. Also if you guys have any recommendations on books I would be more than appreciative of this information
Thank you very much for your time
greatly appreciated

Heheheh... Yeah, maybe a wee bit OCD, but I'm pretty sure you can get a cream for that. [smile2]Romez wrote:I know this is a very specific and some people might call it OCD question but I want to learn to the best of my abilities from the beginning.
Draw from the top of the deck as you would if you were dealing out cards in a game.
As to flipping them over, just do it in a way that you are comfortable with, that won't break your focus too much;
and, so that you won't look like a total dork or drop the cards once you start to read for friends. [razz]
Have fun, and welcome to the Forum!
