A new way to charge sigils?
A new way to charge sigils?
So, Grafitti is (as one would expect) an adrenaline rush t o say the least. Painting in a space where you ought not to is a very emotionaly charged thing. Without condoning vandalism, I would like to inquire as to what fellow chaotes (and others
) think about tagging sigils to charge them. This sigil would then absorb the energy of all who look at it passing by. Morality aside, what do you guys think?

I've passed by a few myself,lol.
I think it's a valid method,yes.
Graffiti can be an art form in itself and a powerful messenger to the masses,so why not?

Hehehe, great idea.. also, if you want certain ppl to see something a lot, paint it on something facing their hangout, and not on the hangout itself. For example (this is of course taken totally out of the blue and not from good old days) if you paint ON the church they'll remove it fast, but if you paint on the outside of the bus shelter next to it it might be left alone for months.
Re: A new way to charge sigils?
The use of Graffiti for sigils (the law aside), would probably work quite well from what I know.
In a good position quite a few people a day could see it before it was removed and help charge it, along with the adrenaline when spraying the Graffiti itself.
The only downside could be if someone sprayed over your Graffiti (I've heard that in areas with a lot of Graffiti that can happen), or if the fuzz removed it as well.
I actually see more Graffiti on train cars than on buildings in my area, so it would be rather interesting to have your Sigil go cross country on the side of a train (think of all the people who might see it then!) [zomg]
Another upside to putting it on a train is that they never seem to clean the Graffiti off of them. [rofl]

I saw a new way of graffiti the other day. You find a wall or paving stone or whatever and you place your stencil and then you *clean* over the stencil with bleach or such. If you pick a sufficiently dirty wall, it can work quite well.
