Finding lost
What techniques and/or gadgets would you use to locate lost items (or maybe even people)?

I've heard a few methods, although I mostly just wait for them to turn up by themselves.... Or, you know, turn the whole house upside-down and then let them turn up by themselves...
I remember someone saying you can pray to Saint Jude, but I think that's more for lost causes than lost objects... I guess Legba is a good one for finding lost things, if you're comfortable with a bit of vodou. There are also things like pendulum dowsing over a map, dowsing rods (L-shaped rods you wander around with), and remote viewing. I knew someone who would call out the lost things name three times while wandering around looking, and by the third it would usually turn up.
That said, I can't vouch for the effectiveness of the above, although Legba has made things disappear around me before... Like, completely disappear, with no viable explanation, so, I think he might be somewhat effective in the other direction also...
