Chi.

Post by Lucius »

So, the latest thing I'm working on is learning chi control. I can already do meditation and astral project etc.- the works. But I'm now looking into the rather elusive field of Chi manipulation- so learn chi projection and techniques etc. I'm wondering which section is the most appropriate on this forum to post about chi?

Also, if anyone knows of any good resources to learn about chi manipulation that would be a great help [thumbup]

Good question, there doesn't seem to be a board specifically for the subject, I guess it could come under "Eastern Faith" although that doesn't quite sit right. Would be good to hear some others' thoughts on where it should go.

I did an exercise called the macrocosmic orbit daily for a few months once, I found that helped a lot, I felt really energised at the time, and others had noticed and mentioned without prompting, so, I'd encourage that one :P

At the risk of being Captain Obvious,my suggestion would be Tai Chi forms too. [grin]

We don't really have a catergory outside of Eastern Faiths atm.

I think a category for mind/body/spirit or a sub forum for ssuch/similar subjects might be worth exploring?

We could do with some tidying up and rearrangement ,I think.

I'd say either Eastern Faiths, since Tai Chi/Qi Gong are based on and closely tied into Taoism and other Asian philosophies, or Off Topic Occult.

The sub-forums definitely need some pruning :p

Since you can astral project, maybe it would be best to seek a teacher on the astral plane.

Chi, Reich's orgone, Mesmer's animal magnetism, all the same energy. To really understand the energy, the life force, you should not limit your studies to just one interpretation.

I have this book and it is interesting. While it tends to be a bit anecdotal, it has some good info and exercises. But, Robert Bruce is the most effective on this subject.
