Pathworking the Duat?

I have been listening to a documentary on the Egyptian Book of the Dead, or, the Book of what is found in the Duat (the Egyptian Afterlife). In the course of this documentary I was increasingly struck by the idea that the same techniques which are used in Qabbalistic Pathworking exercises might be applied, in their own way, to the Duat. Perhaps this was a guide for Mental Projection which opened up these paths for the individual consciousness while still alive, making passage after death much simpler.

I am contemplating attempting this and recording the results in verse with illustrations.

I think this is a great idea and I would like to hear about your experiences with it. As I assume you know the original translation of the title "book of the dead" is "Book of Coming Forth by Day" .
