How can the Tarot answer my questions if I?

I have been doing Tarot for half a year now. Even though I often get card readings that perfectly fit my current situation, I am starting to not care that much about the crad answers, because the answers are answers I myself could easily think of.

Example 1. A short while ago I have been unemployed for 3 weeks, and I often got readings like:
- Go easy on money, (I know, no work, less money)
- Go outside and meet people to expand network (Know that one.)
- Try to discover new qualities about myself. (Did before during my previous state as being unemplyed. Knew that one.)

Example 2. I started my new job and it involves a lot of (internal) training. Without them I cannot continue on some tasks. I got cards telling me a lot about
- Evolving myself.
- Expanding my knowledge.
- Career changes etc. Yes it is a career change.

So, I am not complaining about reading / interpeting the cards wrong, or bad in any other way. But the weird thing is that I am starting to not really caring much about the readings, since I was capable of thinking the same things myself. (Only happens like 5% of the time.)

The only problem is that I like Tarot and don't want to stop either. I mostly use Celtic cross 6 cards spreads involving social activities meeting new people. My Tarot is the Golden Universal Tarot*. I got a booklet in Dutch and I am Dutch.

I know when I ask the obvious I get obvious answers.

When I ask stupid questions (especially repetitively) I get either very basic or non answers.

Have you tried asking any deeper questions?

Try doing something more like tarot meditation or a deeper study of the symbolism. There's a whole esoteric doctrine wrapped up in it. Spending 5 minutes either once or twice per day meditating on its components is a good way to go. There are also plenty of books written about the esoteric doctrines within the tarot - Papus, Oswald Wirth, Eliphas Levi, A.E. Waite, Aleister Crowley, Paul Foster Case, and the list goes on.

One truly wonderful book that really piqued my interest in the tarot as a lock-pick for the subconscious and opening the gates to the inner-life was Meditations on the Tarot - A Journey into Christian Hermeticism. Lots of great books out there approaching any of the classic to early 20th century decks. Apparently Alejandro Jodoroworski even wrote his own book on the Marseilles - guy made some truly bizarre movies and I could only imagine his writings on the tarot have to be pretty interesting.

Good suggestions. I've always felt that the Tarot (and other divination methods such as the runes, ogham, using various sacred texts, etc) aren't things to just be pulled out every time you hit a bump in the road of your life, but are to be reserved to for serious, life changing questions, especially those that are spiritual or magical in nature. It sounds like you're drawn to the Tarot but are using it when you don't really need to just for a reason to use it, looking deeper into the symbolism and applying it to your life and your spiritual growth is probably a much more effective and fulfilling use for your deck.

The neat thing about symbols is you can plumb them deeper and deeper. In a way they become like racks or focal points that you can organize data around and their meaning can keep growing deeper quite literally for the rest of your life. Admittedly I'm semi-novice, only been doing this stuff seriously for maybe a year or so (reading a bit longer perhaps) but it seems like any time I can spot a way to apply something in my life, pull at my own psychological underpinnings and strengthen or innovate them in a useful and forward-moving way it's an awesome experience. Seems like the esoteric path is loaded with gems like that.
