Arguments against Christianity

Post by Cobra8 »

Those of you who are interested in debating/arguing against Christianity, what are you favorite arguments to use? I think that Christianity can be argued against from historical, scientific, and philosophical viewpoints, but am always looking for more "meat" for these types of arguments.

One argument I often use is based on the many Pagan traditions Christianity ripped off, thus demonstrating the unoriginal nature of Christianity. This site has some info on it: http://see_the_truth.webs.com/.

Anyone else have good talking points for their arguments that they use?

No.

Arguments can be made against the people who purportedly practice and/or believe in Christianity, but not against the doctrine itself which is in total a historical document of teachings of one of the greatest mages on the plane. It's his life's teachings that have been penned and the practices resulting from it is what's been taken apart, scrutinized and ridiculed for every negative aspect.

Is there a problem in incorporating former knowledge into a new compendium? No. Pagans ought to be flattered that their societal norms were taken into consideration when coming up with new ideas for society to adhere to as the human race progressed.

I can use science to destroy anyone who talks against anything related to spirituality; literally and figuratively.

Again, understand what you're attacking. Divine/Inspired teaching has and will always be flawless. People's understanding of them will always be flawed, and given time (about 2000 years), their resulting actions will fester into absolute and utter chaos.

Also, your link is endorsed by the Joy Of Satan cult, the most ridiculous and idiotic group citing religion second only to the Islamic State.
