Excuse my English, as it is not my mothertongue.This might seem crazy, but. Ever since I were a kid I have been dreaming of things that have happened, or things that represents something that's goingto happen. I didn't look up the signs in a dreambook analysing-ish stuff. I just knew. And sometimes I could even dream of things that happens for everything that happens for a whole minute. After many years of keeping this to myself, I decided to tell my mother. She then just nods and smile." I didn't know which of my children would get the gift or curse, depending on how you look at it. But throughout many generations we have had one who possess this gift, plus other gifts. It might only be this gift, but there can be more. Your grandmother has it. I have it, but I mostly dream of when people are going to die, and it can be dreamt years or months or days before it happens. But i always know. It has mostly been a girl who possess this gift, but there is a rare and special occation when it happens to a male. Now, there is nothing to be afraid of, but I don't much else about it then that those men in earlier generations who had...gifts..were more powerful and had many gifts. You need to find someone who can help you. That's all I know, I'm sorry, son. It can be quite a burden to carry, but it can also make wonders happen".
So. That just dropped a shitload of thoughts on me. Why the fuck didn't I know about this earlier? She didn't want to seem crazy to the family.
Anyways...in these dreams I felt a connection to nature, but not like love of nature and preserving it..just a connection. Something guiding me, something speaking to me. As a child I sometimes became so drawn to the forest that I just couldn't resist wondering straight into it alone. And many strange things happened...animals seeking me, that normaly run away from people, like they are trying to tell me something. I know this sounds crazy, and as I got older I kind of pushed it away, I was scared...or nervous. I didn't want anyone to think I was crazy...but some weeks ago I was in an old bookshop. And suddenly a book just fall out of the bookshelf in front of me. It said druid magic or something on the cover. I picked it up and gave it a quick scan, and I remembered everything. I quickly put it back into place and almost ran out of the store. I don't know what to do, but I feel like I'm kind of destined to do something about it.

So, this is why I'm seeking help. Are there anyone here who knows what this is, or what I am? Someone who can guide me? I really don't know anyone who I think would take me seriously.

What is your family tradition?

Perhaps my approach is unorthodox here but when it comes to astral gifts passed down through specific familial lineages, I think the best teachers or masters are often found within the family. So you may want to find out if you have any living relatives who have (or know more about) this gift and can help you deal with it; if not, going into trance or inner silence and contacting your "ascended" ancestors who had the gift and asking for their guidance is another possible path.

But if you share a bit more about your heritage and what you are hoping to do with this gift, maybe some book recommendations will come to mind.
